BCS-S1000 | Wireless Bluetooth Retractable Headphones, Neckband Headset with Microphone (Black)

I approached purchasing this item with a great deal of skepticism. It was expensive compared to similar devices and I wasn’t sure if the quality from the speakers (not the ear buds) would be worth the additional cost over the quality ear buds available. I have a huge collection of wired ear buds in a nest in my travel case and dresser drawers. I have several configurations of wireless ear buds that I don’t use as the batteries usually need to be recharged. I have the Bose Quiet Comfort 35ii wireless with noise reduction that I love but avoid because I look funny wearing them at home when interacting with family and because of the noise reduction and over ear design isolates me from anything externally going on around me (great on plane but not a social enhancer at home or in waiting room of my Doctor's office).I was first interested in wireless ear buds that I can use explicitly with my new Kindle Oasis ebook Reader. But I wanted something that wouldn’t become a tangled quagmire. I began looking at neckband ear buds with retractable wiring. There were many and because the neckband could handle larger batteries, power availability was vastly improved. I then came across this device and became engrossed. I researched the reviews and was impressed with the overwhelming approval of the sound quality from the ear buds but also from the 4 speakers in the neckband that provided very good and quite clear sound with hi-fidelity.. I had to try them so I ordered it from Amazon.My first impression was the high quality of the workmanship of this product. Not heavy, not light, but well balanced and solid feeling. All detail showed carefull construction. It came fully charged so I immediately had to try the neckband speakers. I put it on and it immediately felt comfortable. I paired it first to my iPhone (and then to my iPad as it can connect to two devices simultaneously. Sound was clear and not ”tinny” as I had fearfully expected. It wasn’t “blown away” sound but better than acceptable. Because of its proximity to your ears, sound was in very good fidelity with a small circle of privacy around you. To others in the room, it would sound like noisy ear buds not in your ears but to you, the surround speakers are immersive and enjoyable. Of utmost importance, the sounds in the room and ambient noise is still as if you didn’t have anything on (other than the distraction of whatever you are listening). Quite satisfying and surprisingly good.I then tried the ear buds and here I was blown away. The audio through the ear buds was awesome - full, rich and powerful. I was very impressed.In unpacking my neckband, I inadvertently dropped the spare set of earbud cover gels. My small puppy immediately pounced on the bag and chewed them beyond recognition. In the reviews I had read, there were many concerns about these ear plugs attached to the buds were proprietary and other ear plugs would not adapt. This was identified as the major deficit to this unit and one cannot buy replacements. I began to panic and emailed the distributor from their web site, offering to pay for replacement ear plugs. I very quickly got a reply that although they do not sell the ear plugs on Amazon at this time, they hope to in near future. They also volunteered to send my additional sets.Wow! A quality product with such good customer service is a find. I highly recommend trying this product as I believe you would be as impressed as I was. It is expensive but I believe you get what you pay for!

I was very impressed and satisfied with this purchase , had a LG prior to this and had nothing but issues with it, speakers failing and construction of item poor, broke several times and I had to epoxy it together to continue use, this product is excellent ,well made and does everything that the LG did only better, I must say I wish it had noise canceling but that is the only thing I can say about it , other wise I love the external speakers they sound great, very impressed with this item, so glad I purchased it , I would highly recommend it , very, very well made , I work as an administrator and I am on the phone all day and this unit works flawlessly, I love it !

Bought these to replace a cheap 20 dollar pair i lost. The most monies ive spent on headphones ever. I work in a machine shop so i have to be able to hear whats going on around me.These headphones work great. Havent lost the little ear piece like ive read others have. I use these in ear AND external speaker mode. Unless im running the sand blaster, the external speakers ROCK. Not only can i hear the music well i can also feel the bass. The noise cancellation isnt all that good - i might be using the wrong ear bud size for my ears - but thats ok because i have to be able to hear things around me (machines, people, etc...).At the highest volume setting with the external speakers, i can not only listen to my music but also have a conbersation with someone. They are loud enough to barely hear when held in my outstretched hand.So far, these are the best wireless headphones ive ever had. 7 hour battery life in external speaker mode, 22 hour battery life in in-ear mode and only takes 2 hours to fully charge. I can charge them at lunch and they will last me my whole 9 hour shift.My only gripe is with the technology (wireless headphones) as a whole and not with this specific brand or style. Wish there was a way to use voiceless commands to pause, skip or even change the volume. THAT would be AWESOME.4/5 stars because of the quality of noise cancellation which, again, might be because of me not using the right size of ear buds.Still damn good.
