This is pretty good
Welder performs good so far. I ran some 7018 and 6011 back to back for a total of 20 electrodes and didn't have a single issue with overheating. BUT!!!!!!!! The stinger this welder came with is less than ideal. After the first electrode I noticed the handle being loose to the point where it slipped off completely and separated from the copper stinger clamp exposing the wire and the connector. DANGEROUS!I bought new stinger from Lincoln Electric and it works great now.The arc is good and smooth for this price range with plenty of room for adjustments.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality entry level DC welding machine.

For the size and price... a fantastic welder!
This welder came with 10 ft cables. The ground clamp and electrode holder are both heavy duty! I haven't tried the welder on a 110v line so can't say anything about operation there. I run it on a 220v line. It does an excellent job!! I've watched my grandson turn the current down and run one of the prettiest beads on sheet metal!! He was showing off! I've built a 12 ton log splitter. I ran it on some pretty high current settings and was able to weld the thick steel! The cooling fan cycles and is not overly loud. Apparently Ive gotten great weld penetration because I've bogged down the 10hp engine and stopped the splitter trying split some very stringy elm. Not a single weld cracked!! I'm totally amazed for the size and price of this welder how well it works!!

Customer service is excellent--but welder is dangerous
the open electrode voltage when the welder is run at 115volts is around 70. But that only give you around 80amps. When you want the values of 15 amps-to-200 amps you have to run the welder on 230 volt . When run at the higher voltage the open circuit (stick) voltage (OCV) is 100.9 volts. Any voltage over 85 volts is capable of electrocution. THIS WELDER IS DANGEROUS. The customer service was very nice and sent me a second one that was just as bad (100 volts) .But i will say they cheerfully gave me a refund.....BE CAREFUL and stay alive....

200 Amp Model, Solid welder
I appreciate them not wasting money on a cheap hood or other worthless accessories. The ground and stinger supplied are surprising good. Solid performing welder, with good duty rating. I like the force control which makes starting a maintaining a bead easy, even for an handyman like me.

Ease of starting the arc.
Very easy to start the arc, smooth stable arc, and easy to adjust welding parameters. I built a carrier for my sickle bar mower using square tube welded together. I used 6011, 6013, 7014, and 7018, 1/8th rods. All the different rods worked like they are supposed to with minor adjustments.

Great inverter, totally worth every penny
I'm an amateur welder just starting off into this hobby. I took the welder to a friend who is a pro and he said it worked great. I'm in the middle of making my own welding table with it and already have a couple projects in mind. For what I've tried it, it burns 6013 1/8" great at 80-120 amps, nice penetration and haven't had issues with the 127v house electric installation.

over loads
I just got this welder to handle small jobs around the house , I was very disappointed with the performance .the negative clamp is of low quality , it does not have enough surface area for a good contacts to the metal.fan never came on wile the unit overheat,It had a good review that is why I bought this welder .did not work for me , maybe I got a defective unit .
