Italian Sterling Silver Necklace
Bought as a Christmas gift for male friend who loves sterling silver. I also bought the matching bracelet, and he loves both of them.

It starts out beautiful, but if you sweat or the necklace gets wet, it discolors
When I got this necklace, it was everything I ever wanted. It was just the right thickness. It was elegant and shiny. The herringbone style was wonderful for dressing up an outfit. But when I do regular jobs around the house or outside, sometimes I sweat. The necklace became discolored so badly. I won't wear it out anymore. I even took it to a professional jeweler to clean. The pictures that accompany this review were taken the same day AFTER the necklace was professionally cleaned. I'm not sure that this can be called sterling silver if it can't be polished back to its original shine.
