Crimson TraceLG-435 Laserguard Laser Sight for KEL-TEC PF9 Pistols

2017 - Ok, I have has this thing for a while now and it is a good laser. My initial trouble with the intermittent function did not continue. I have changed the batteries out twice now and it still works great! It took a while to get it "sighted" in but it has been a good laser. I like that I can use the belt clip, a generic nylon pocket holster, and an uncle mikes ankle holster just the same as I did without the laser.2013 - I shopped quite a bit, but settled on Crimson trace for a laser on my PF9. I like how securely it installs on the trigger guard. However,my confidence in the unit is shaken. When I took it out to get it sighted in, it would not turn on! I fiddled with it, took it apart, moved the battery around, and it started working. When I put it back on, it stopped working again. I was going to box it up and return it, but then after firing a few rounds, it started working again. I haven't gotten it sighted in yet, but each time I handle it, I try the laser. It has worked every day for about a month now, but it will take a while for me to gain confidence in the unit. I still need to sight it in and then test it's ability to maintain accuracy under daily carry and after shooting a significant amount of ammo.On the up-side, this laser is small enough that I can still use my uncle mike's nylon ankle holster and a generic small nylon pocket holster. I have the belt clip on the side of my PF9 and that helps it stay secure in the holster. I'm glad I didn't have to find new carry holsters with this laser!I will try to post again when I sight it in and test it. I'd give 5 stars if I hadn't had that initial glitch! Great fit and finish, intuitive use.

Crimson Trace makes great products and this one is no exception. The "instinctive activation" works flawlessly and the laser fit my Keltec perfectly. Only 1 minor issue that did not merit deducting a star. I have a Hogue rubber grip sleeve on my Keltec and I had to trim it with a razor blade to install the laser. Due to the design of the sleeve, it really isn't made for being trimmed and I may end up taking it off completely (while I like the Hogue grip, I would rather have the laser than the grip if I have to choose one).After putting the first few rounds through the Keltec using the laser, I realized the laser was off a little (about 3" at 7 yards). This was not a problem at all as the laser is easy to adjust and in no time at all I had it dialed in just the way I wanted.

It was delivered on time. But almost a disaster. I had ordered some vinyl cleaner and it was packed with it. Although they wrapped the spray bottle nicely, it still leaked. Only the case for the laser got wet.I found it tough to get on because the instructions were lacking. If I was to man up on it right at the beginning, I would of have no problem. Looks like you could break it, but it tougher than you think. Looks like it is made to fit tight for the accuracy of the laser. The laser is off from the standard sights but I have not made any adjustments as of yet because I have not shot it.Its small and takes little space. I find my finger does not activate the laser every time. Might be due to me using the pinkie extension. Not problems seeing the laser, nice and bright.

I installed the Crimson trace laser and after 10 shots it became intermittent. After every three or four shots the laser goes out until you shoot two or three more times then it comes back on. I will attempt to return or warranty this Crimson trace laser an update the review as needed.The intermittent issue with This unit is solved by disassembling and bending the negative terminal until it protrudes above the surface of the mounting plastic. I have updated my review after 300 rounds and would recommend this product to others.

This Crimson Trace Laser was made for the Keltec PF9. It was easy to install, the button that turns on the laser is on the grip and in exactly the right place. Adjustable, and of course you get life time free batteries...One per year. unlike some lasers, this one will not stay on accidentally. Good price too!

I just got this laser for my PF9. It was easy to install and I love the fact that it activates as soon as you grip the weapon. I went to the range and sighted it in at 10 meters. The windage and elevation were easy to change and spot on. I put over 50 rounds down range and the laser remained on target. My only complaint with the laser is that it's a little pricey. However, what price can you put on your or someone elses life? Sometimes just having the laser target someone center mass can be just enough deterent to not have to pull the trigger. If you should ever find yourself faced with that scenario, it just paid for itself.

Great product

Bought this little gem for my Kel-Tec PF-9, and it's perfect. I love that the laser is grip-activated; you don't have to reach for a button. It fits perfectly and looks like part of the gun. Easy to adjust the laser's aim as well. And Crimson Trace will give you batteries for life! Highly recommended for the PF-9.
