I’m really enjoying my Kuretake Brush Pens
These Kuretake brush pens are so nice to use.I like the flow of ink and the line variations you can get.The brush tips are good quality, and you can buy ink cartridges to replace the ink.I have been enjoying impromptu ink drawings done with these brush pens, and sometimes I use them in a mixed media painting with gouache or watercolor.I believe these will be a staple in my art supply kits.Great for taking on the road.Works well on the 160 gsm Leuchterm sketchbook journal. The ink flows nicely and the paper is thick enough to avoid a bleed through. You might see a shadow ghost of the drawing from the other side. But it’s not too bad.

LOVE THIS PEN
I own quite a few black-ink brush pens, but none were as fine tipped as this one, so I decided to give it a try. I love that you can get very fine as well as broad lines with it. You need to remove the yellow plastic parts to get the ink flowing. It took awhile for the brush to get saturated, but once it did the flow was just right. If you work quickly you can get a dry-brush effect and more slowly for better coverage. Unfortunately, the price went up since I bought my pen, but I am keeping my eye on it, and for sure if there ever is a price drop, I'll be getting another one.

Once you pull the yellow cap and ring...
Seems to work pretty well. I was able to sketch a scene after playing with the pen a short while. I'm only judging my review based on a short trial, butso far, so good. You will need to remove the yellow cap and yellow plastic ring to push the ink cartridge in far enough to get the ink to flow to the tip.

They have better products
It's not very comfortable is just all in your hand for how small the bristle is has decent control but not as it was advertised I would not buy again although kuretake is great this seems below there standard

Great waterproof brush pen
I thought the ink wasn’t water proof because it smudged when I would rub it with spit but it is waterproof! Just don’t force it. It handles being painted over well. Good quality ink and the brush tip is lovely. Feels really smooth and I love the thickness of the ink cartridge. If you want to compare it to the pentel ink pen the brush tip keeps its form a little better whereas the pentel pen can make sharper lines and I think can take the ink longer than this one. This one I think feels more organic. I’ve enjoyed working with it and will be purchasing an ink replacement soon!

A fun brush pen to use
Very fun ink brush. It has a brush tip. You can pull off fairly thin lines with this thing as well as thick.

What’s the secret?
I can’t get this thing to work! It feels like it would draw beautifully, the way it feels in the hand. But no instructions, no ink flow. If I can figure it out, I’ll review again

Hate it.
Ink is nice when it comes out. Pen kind of is crap.
