No Barbed Eyes and Nose - Value for Money
The media could not be loaded. I believe that these are the best mice that Amazon sells right now. I was prepared to go to the trouble of prying out the barbed eyes and nose that other people report, but I found that there was no need. The eyes and nose are little pieces of felt glued onto the mouse. I guess the manufacturer has been reading the feedback and has gotten the point that consumers do not want those barbed things on their cats toys. The tails are rather long, and I have found that the first thing my cat does is bite the tail off and swallow it, so I cut them off before I giving him a mouse. The mice are advertised as "rabbit fur," and they are , in fact, covered with short fur. They give him lots of playtime before he stashes it away somewhere that he cannot get it back. The mice are about 2 inches long, excluding the tail. The tails are pretty long and they are quite furry. I do recommend removing them before letting your cat play with them. They come in a medium size box stuffed with mice in three colors. There is black, gray, and white. The mice are bigger than the older ones in my collection. I can find some of the mice that he uses by looking under the refrigerator and stove, but I do not know where the rest of them are. Unfortunately, he only gets a few minutes of playtime before losing the mouse, and I ration him to one per day.If you are shopping for mouse toys for your cat, get these!

Great toys, good quality, some precautions.
Our cats love the things. We would but them in smaller packs of 5 or 6, but we'd go through them quickly so we ended up buying the bulk pack. From having bought others, here are some things we like. Other than the inner shell of the mouse there are no small plastic pieces for the eyes or nose. The eyes, ears and nose are small felt pieces. The rattle is good and the pieces inside are small pebble like rocks about 1-2mm in diameter, so inevitably when they get eaten, they pass easily.Cons: tails are easily chewed off. Ears easily come out. Some advice here is that as soon as we get them, we went through the whole box and removed the ears, eyes, nose and tail. Its a little work, but I'd rather not end up with a digestive issue due to such a large piece of hide being eaten. They are made of real rabbit hide, which is one of the things that I think make them so appealing. We do have some faux fur toys that they don't touch, whereas these they seek out, hunt and play with on their own continually throughout the day and night. If your cats are chewers like ours, they will eventually chew through the hide and reach the plastic core.... This is the perfect time to toss it and grab another out of the dispenser style box. Our cats have found the box and on several occasions we've turned the corner to find 20+ mice strewn about the floor. They absolutely love these and because of that they'll be a regular item we have for them.

Puuurfect cat toy
Glad we got a ton of them because our youngest cat loves to hide his ‘prey’. Perfect for the kitty hunter in the family

fuzzy mice
These mice are REAL in that they are covered in real fur and have a leather tail. The cats LOVE them! Very quickly they eat the tail. One of my cats keeps finding the box and digging out more mice for himself! I have to put them back in the box. For some reason, he prefers the white ones! MUCH BETTER than the ones made out of fake fur!

My cats love these
My cats LOVE these and I’m glad to have enough to last quite a while. I do wish the tails stayed attached better but I think that’s an issue with any brand, since the cats are rough. The fur seems like good quality and they like these better than others I have tried.

Lots of mice that's nice...
The only issue I have is my cat will rip off the rails of fuzzy mice, so I preemptively pulled them off. All and all after all the pulling I ended up with around 20 mice with sturdy enough tails to withstand my cats sycosis.
