Description
- LARGE CAPACITY - Our oversized weekender bag fits about 25% more than carry-ons. Ski weekend? No problem. Your bag should fit your puffy jacket and pants along with cute outfits for the evening. The bottom compartment fits shoes of all size vertically. The bottom compartment is 19” in length, 12” deep and 5” tall. The overall height of the bag is 19” and the bag measures 27” at the top. The 2 smaller packing cubes measure 5.5” x 5.5” x 3” and the large packing cube measures 10”x11”x 3”.
- 3 PACKING CUBES INCLUDED - STAY ORGANIZED – We’ve included 3 packing cubes that perfectly fit and match your travel bag to help you feel neat and organized. We love using one of the smaller packing cubes with underwear, socks, bra and belts; the other one with jewelry and the larger one as a toiletry bag. We use the inner pocket to keep our cables and chargers neatly tucked away.
- 2 SEPARATE COMPARTMENTS - You will LOVE the versatility that the 2 compartments add to your travel bag. Moms heading to the hospital for labor and delivery can stay organized using the bottom compartment for baby and using the top one for all mom’s needs. Later on, traveling with baby can benefit from the same arrangement needing only one bag for both. If you are a shoe lover, you will enjoy having the entire bottom compartment to keep your favorite pairs neatly tucked away.
- DETAILS THAT MATTER – Our duffle bag is foldable and compact, so it’s easy to take it with you as back up for all your shopping and souvenirs, and it’s also easy to store away once back home. In order to make packing easy, we’ve included structural backing to the walls of the bottom compartment and packing cubes so they stand on their own before they are filled (please remove them before washing).
- SATISFACTION GUARANTEED – If for any reason you are unhappy with your new travel bag, please send us a line at [email protected] and we’ll take care of you promptly.
In 2012, my husband and I quit our jobs (his as a lawyer, mine as a Marketing Director) and we went on to travel the world for about a year, until we got pregnant and decided it was time to go back to Los Angeles to raise a family. While I loved being a minimalist packer then, I realized how hard it was to travel simply and stay organized after having my first son, Santiago. I designed Outbound Love’s flagship weekender bag as the ideal bag for women who are, like me, in a phase of life where packing light is no longer an option. However, I’ve added little hacks and features to keep packing, unpacking and enjoying your time away as hassle free as possible. I hope you will take advantage of the 2 separate bag compartments to sometimes travel with only one bag for you and baby. Maybe this will even be your hospital bag as you enter motherhood. However, feel no shame if you want to fill your over sized bottom compartment with 10 shoe options for the weekend. As Marilyn Monroe said, “Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world”. We get it.
