It Works to a Degree
I really wanted this to work for me. I will start by saying that the bridge in the middle is very wide compared to others out there on the market. I like that you don't even notice it once its on. The strap does a good job of keeping the mattresses together once you get it on. But you definitely need two people to put this on. I do wish that the strap was wider.I don't recommend this for adjustable beds. My husband and I got a split king thinking we would be comfortable. We were not. So to save us from having to pay a second delivery fee by returning the two Twin XLs and getting an actual King, we decided to try this bed bridge. As long as the beds are flat, this product works great. So for people with non-adjustable bases, you will LOVE this bed bridge kit! Buy it, believe me, you won't be disappointed especially if you put a mattress pad down over it. It doesn't have to be a thick one either. We used a thin one I bought on clearance for $9 and it really is comfortable. However, for adjustable base users with two Twins or Twin Xls, there is a bit of extra steps to take. We've decided to adjust both sides at the same time instead of adjusting the beds independently of each other. That seems to work for a few days, then I have to strip all the linens off the bed and refit the strap because its slides off. What we did to help prevent it from slipping is to put the strap around the mattresses and pull that sucker as tightly as possible. We have hybrid mattresses (Memory foam on top and coil springs on the bottom. So super comfy!) so its pretty easy to really tighten the strap. It smooshes the corners, but its tight. Then we put on the mattress protector and the mattress pad and finally fitted sheet, flat sheet and quilt. I plan on buying some sheet straps and maybe using those to keep the strap from sliding off. It only seems to slide off from the top of the mattress I think because they are memory foam on top. I really did want to love this bed bridge kit and hopefully I will love if if the sheet straps actually work.So in conclusion, this really is the best bed bridge kit I've seen for non-adjustable beds. And it's pretty good for adjustable beds as long as you move both sides together and pull the strap as tight as you can.

Great product and great price!!
I love this! I didn’t know these were a thing but so glad they are! We got twin adjustable mattresses since the hubs is so much taller than me and it was working great, it didn’t bother us that we were in “separate” beds until our kids would climb in bed with us. They would always, ALWAYS, end up in the middle of the two mattresses and in the morning we would find them trapped, legs straight down or an arm pinned because they would fall in the crack. They actually seemed comfortable and it didn’t bother us too badly until we noticed that lit brand new mattresses wouldn’t stay close to each other anymore. I looked online and found this one and compared to others I saw this looked the best one. What I like most about it is that it has a loop at the top and bottom of the bridge for the strap to go through. This keeps it from moving up and down or even getting lodged into the crack from body weight. It was fairly easy to install, it 5’1” and did it by myself in like 3 minutes, and the strap tightened really tight and kept the mattresses close together!Once on, I tested the softness to see if I could tell it was on there and I couldn’t. We have a hybrid mattress, it’s like a pillow top and memory foam aonits ridiculously comfortable and I was worried it be able to feel it but honestly couldn’t .My kids said they couldn’t tell either and even when they sleep directly on it it keeps them above the crack. My son sleeps on his side and right in the middle, and once he’s up you can see that he’s squished it some and it is pushed down between the mattresses a bit but not too badly that it’s messed up the integrity of the bridge. We’ve only had it about 2 weeks but so far it’s holding up great and we love it!!!

This makes our bed a King again!
After trying another product and returning it before even sleeping on it, I decided to try this for my 2 Pillow top twin XL mattresses. Let me just say that I am so happy that I did. The original I purchased almost completely turned me off of these types of products, but this one made me so happy. The pad that goes between the beds is much wider, and the strap that goes around has a metal clasp that doesn't break like other models with plastic. If there was anything I would change about the product, it would just be to make the wrap around strap much, much wider, or, include 2 or 3 more straps and clasps. The 1 wrap around is thin (for my deep, pillow tops) and after a few nights, the beds will separate and you will need to pull the center back out and re-tighten the strap and clasp around the beds. Other than that, Thanks for making our beds 1 again!

Effective, but too short for Twin XL beds
I ordered this to join two Twin XL beds into a King bed. The strap that goes around the circumference of the beds is high quality and I really like the metal clasp that holds it tight. It was plenty long enough and had a ton of slack left over. However the insert that goes between the beds was too short. Hooking the insert to the strap on one end left the opposite end about 8 inches short of the edge of the bed. I hooked it at the foot of the bed leaving the insert short at the head of the bed where the pillows would be anyway. Despite this flaw, it is still a pretty high quality item and quite comfortable, so I opted to keep it rather than return it. But I would have given it 5 stars, had the insert not been so short.

Exactly what we were hoping for!
This Bed Bridge is soft and excellent quality - and was exactly what we were hoping for. It was time to transition from twin beds to a king in our guest room. The "installation" was so easy; I did it myself in about 10 minutes. We had some nice mattress covers for the twins, so I spent a little time sewing those together to go over the king instead of ordering a king size cover. Our adult "kids" have slept in this revised bed several times, and they both said that it is very comfortable and that the bed bridge was not even noticeable. (I think having a mattress cover helps with that. We would never just put sheets over a good mattress, so the mattress cover is really a mute point as far as I'm concerned.) Bottom line - we highly recommend this Bed Bridge.
