EarthQuaker Devices Pitch Bay Polyphonic Harmonizer and Distortion Generator Guitar Effects Pedal

A pedal beyond expectations.

This pedal does everything it claims to do, as well as it claims to do it, but it wasn't for me. Great craftsmanship from a great company. I returned it because I wouldn't get the use out of it that the price dictates I should. If you are looking for this kind of pedal, the Pitch Bay should certainly be on your radar.

I needed an Octave pedal and started the search. There are several highly regarded pedals out there with this feature including the Electro Harmonix POG, TC Electronics Sub n Up (which I own), and a couple from EQD consisting of the Pitch Bay and Organizer. I chose the EQD Pitch Bay for its gain control. I do a lot of research including videos on YouTube to make my purchase decisions and it was unintended that I ended up with a Sub n Up and a Pitch Bay at the same time. Regardless of the reviews, the true testament to a product's worth is how often it is selected for use when you have options. Such is the case with the Pitch Bay. It is the Octave pedal I prefer the most.I noticed the output plug on it became loose after many repetitive uses. I decided to tighten up the jack and it broke. - my fault. After getting over the shock and realization my pedal was now out of commission, I decided to contact the EQD people to see what they could do. Surprisingly, I received an immediate response assuring me they would perform the repairs on my pedal at no charge. They included the appropriate links to the forms needed to submit with my pedal. I sent the pedal out on a Monday and it was received on Friday as good as new. I can't speak enough towards their fantastic customer service. I will say when future pedal purchases come up (as I know they will) my positive experience with EQD will definitely influence my decisions towards their products based on the service I received on the Pitch Bay.
