As described surprisingly. Comes w inline magnet for reducing interference.Tested w multimeter, within specs. 5V constand, amp adjusted properly up to 8 a.Bought two, tested both, both within specs....surprisingly.Added this to sbcs running retropie via usbromshares to samsung 2tb sdd on atomic pi and 4tb seagate hdd on odroid xu4. Works nicely. No more shutdowns. Plenty of power now.Remember to read the reviews. I bought others with great reviews, but when tested was outside of listed specs and some fried my sbc boards being over 5v; quite a bit run or hover at around 5.253 to 5.429 volts.All depends on where it was manufactured if in china. There are reputable manuf of these electronic power blocks in china believe it or not....then there are the others who obviously are able to sell these out of spec. Beware the really cheap ones, they are really cheap for a reasonBeen hit and miss for me. I got these bc i believed they had the most stable reviews vs the others.And their product seems to be as it was described, stable 5v up to 8a; in my case anyways.
