GatorG-BUS-8-US - Pedal Board Power Supply

i love this thing... i bought a gator pedalboard/gigbag combo with one of these pre installed,and it was so good i had to buy another.these things work great, and shut down if there's any short circuits to protect all your connected gear.8 9v @ 250ma isolated outlets (the grounds are common, however) and a couple 18v taps..quiet, clean power... i can run my clone theory i built with this thing almost silently, and it was ridiculously noisy with the cheap power supply i used to use with it.this thing rocks, and is more affordable than some of the competition... i've seen a lot of the others come to me blown up, i won't mention brands but they're built like a brick house, if ya get my drift.if i ever need more than 22 pedals on my board, i will buy another one of these, for sure. ;)

all the 9V outputs worked fine but I had an issue with the 18V outputs. I ran 7 pedals from the 9V outputs and 2 pedals from the 18V outputs. The 2 18 V pedals were a Fulltone OCD and a Wampler Plexi Drive Deluxe - these 2 pedals work fine on other 18v supplies but when i used them on the G-BUS-8 i got a loud hum.

So far, it's extremely clean sounding power. I have been very happy with it. The cables are good, though it would have been nice to include one cable with a 9-volt battery attachment for pedals without a plug. That's a very picky criticism though for a great power source. It fits their branded pedal board with carry bag perfectly and mounts using the screws on that product perfectly. Glad I got both.

I chose this product based on the photo of the power adapter. Picture showing adapter with two prongs. The one I received has a cord that plugs into the adapter. It's a small detail but small but one that would have helped my guitar effects pedalboard set up.

The added power outlets allowed for more pedals on the board. Definitely helps.

I already have one of these power supplies in another board. I liked itand I like this one as well.

Power supply works great! It's size was the biggest surprise. I expected it to be somewhat in the way. As it turns out it fits under the pedal riser for the back row of pedals. The detachable ac cord is a nice touch too.

I plugged 6 pedals to it (all rated well under 100ma) and it sounded like when you dime out a cheap compression. HISSSSSS! My overdrives picked up AM stations better than my radio with this. Should have read and trusted the reviews before purchasing. I'm returning now (same day as recieved) and am going to get a voodoo or cae. It's not just a little noise, either. It's quite a ridiculous amount.

1st one failed and was replaced with no quibble. So far the replacement is working fine.

Es muy pequeño y se ha adaptado perfectamente en mi pedalera. De momento, cero ruidos. Muy recomendable.La única pega es que no tiene botón de encendido/apagado, por lo que hay que desenchufar la fuente cuando no vayas a usarla. Por eso no le doy 5 estrellas
