Samsung SU916A MLT-D203U Ultra High Yield Toner Cartridge, Black, Pack of 1

We have an Samsung printer, and this is the cartridge we needed to change. It is relatively easy to change and has lasted us awhile now. After horrible experiences trying to use third party consumables I would seriously recommend you go for the originals - and yes we know they are expensive.

This extra high volume toner has never yet managed to print all the copies promised. It's currently streaking with 66% capacity left according to my computer. I don't know if this is a printer issue or a toner issue. Either way, it's a shame as I purchased the machine as a high volume unit and expected the toner to meet previous experience with my Canon multi-function which I dearly miss for the capabilities sacrificed for this Samsung high volume printer. I will see what happens with this toner. It's the third purchase since buying the printer. It will be the fourth toner in two years. I don't make 20,000 copies a year. I might make an upper limit of 5,000. At this rate, no, I won't be buying another Samsung.

Ordered this toner for my Samsung laser printer, and it came really quickly, well packed. Installation was so quick compared to other machines I have had in the past. And Samsung have been excellent in providing a full monochrome toner in the original laser printer, so that lasted ages for me. The new toner printed perfectly first go. Just remember to shake it gently three times, back and forth before you install it. Oh, and I nearly tried to install it upside down, which is why it would not go in initially ! Silly me !Finally, I didn't get covered in toner dust, unlike every other printer i have used.

Does what it says, although I've yet to print thousands of pages to see if the count is accurate!

I always pre order new cartridges in advance, so although I ordered this in January I have only just got it out the box to use, and it comes up as not compatible when installed. Yes I did check the cartridge is a compatible type for my printer, as I always do, it is the correct type of cartridge, and I always prefer to go for the more expensive ones because tried cheaper options before, and they are poor quality so don't like to do that. I cannot beleive at nearly £100 for 1 cartridge and it cannot be used because of some error making it come up as not compatible when loaded!

Original Samsung cartridge. Always reliable. I never use anything else for work printers.
