Even with them being small they put out a good deal of heat. I don’t use it exclusively for UVB, mainly a heat bulb that lasts a long time and you can use smaller bulb holders (I get bendable ones made for them) I drop or knock over dome lights constantly (or one of the iguanas will purposely knock them off to get my attention) which breaks bulbs constantly and these can be knocked over and dropped without shattering and still working. With bigger tanks or hotter environments for bearded dragons, uromastyx, iguanas when they’re small these work out well, but don’t rely on them for UVB. The output and longevity for UVB isn’t as strong and could result in calcium deficiencies (MBD metabolic bone disease which can be quite severe and life threatening) I like using 2 or 3 with the bendable holders so the basking area has heat all around and the holder being adjustable you can create a heat gradient easier than with just one big heat bulb

I bought these 5 months ago. And already went through all 4. Some bulbs only lasted 2-3 weeks. And two of them lasted maybe 6 weeks. I even used gloves so my hands would touch the bulb as I hear the oils from your hands can make them have decrease life. Cheap but rather spend a couple dollars more and get better quality bulbs that last longer than a couple weeks

Excellent small bulb but works great, used it in a 75gallon tank on a floating deck for turtle basking

I have two mini and these works great. There was one bulb that didnt last long but for the price and have 4 in case it was not a big deal. I use this for my turtle and we have 2 so they can have their own spot if they want to bask at the same time :)

One of the bulbs burnt out after two days, however for the money it works. Would not use as a primary source of UVB but the fact it supplies a good amount of UVA at near the same price as regular flood lights is a huge pro.

I ordered these on April 29, It's August 23 now and I only have one bulb left. So they last a month and some days. For reference the bulb is on for roughly 16 hours a day for my 12 year old red eared slider. The old bulbs I used to get lasted for roughly 3-4 months at at time so I'll be going back to those.

I was a bit skeptical when we received these because of their small size. In fact, we thought they would not fit our standard light fixture for our geckos. We were 100% wrong. These fit and produce a powerful light for our geckos to bask. These are on our must buy list for the future through Amazon verses the trip to the local pet shop. Reasonably priced and high quality. Win-win!
