Best purchase for my kayak yet!
Best purchase I've made for my kayak yet!Tested in both fresh water and salt water with a decent current and 14-16 knot wind. The anchor sets quite easily and has a fantastic hold for its size. I have the perception rambler 13.5 three seater. I've tested it with two people and then just myself (260lbs) in salt water. There were a handful of times that the current became too strong and I would move slowly but due to the conditions I was really quite surprised that I wasn't gliding away full speed. I recommend getting a kayak anchor hoist for the front, its definitely made my life easier. Happy kayaking from Florida!

Fun party trick!
I use this with my paddle board ALL the time. The rope is long enough that we can anchor down and tie all of our boards together.Just be careful to check the knot when you first get it. I definitely dropped anchor only to discover the knot had come undone and almost lost it. Luckily we were in shallow water, found it, and were able to secure the anchor with a better knot.

Great for my kayak
This anchor helped keep my kayak from blowing all over the lake when I had the pleasure of using it on a recent super windy Saturday. I really like the fact that the rope is 40 foot. I've seen a lot of similar products that are only 25 foot. Easy to use and I like the bag it comes with. As long as it lasts, I would purchase this again.

great value, does the job
We used it to hold a water float in place. Make sure the knot holding anchor is secure before using.

Well I am still thinking about it!
I use this on my kayak. The rope gets knotted easily and I feel I spend more time untangling the rope than fishing. I still use it on a windy day. The other part is the design with all the pedal like points tend to get caught between rocks and makes it difficult to retrieve. I’ve had to paddle all around the anchor and pull, sometimes taking up to an hour to pull it loose. I believe I will buy a mushroom type of anchor for the lakes and rivers I kayak in. This is not working for me anymore. I purchased two.

Awesome little anchor that does its job!
Lightweight and easy to pack around! I bought it for when my friends and I want to anchor in the middle of the river. It works well when three boards are hooked together in the middle of the flowing River. Such a great deal for this little awesome anchor!

Talk about dead weight….
Well it’s an anchor. Did it stop me from moving in my kayak? Yes. Pretty much sums up a great 10/10 if they could use a more durable rope. Light enough it’s not a pain to haul.

Great customer service
The anchor itself is awesome. The knot came untied though. I talked to them and they are send another. So great customer service. The anchor is really awesome and held my paddleboard great.
