Vimour USB Charging Port Dock Connector Flex Cable with Microphone Replacement for 8 4.7 Inch Black

I (dummy that I am) used compressed air to clean out my lint-clogged charging port and blew out the microphone in my iPhone 8. Took a chance on installing this inexpensive part and saved the phone! It works great. Only con is that this is one of the first parts in the phone below everything and I had to remove everything else to install it. but well worth the time and effort. Not a novice install, FYI

The part itself seemed to be identical from the original but when I connected it to the phone the phone would automatically shut off and not turn on. When I disconnected the part, the phone turned on as usual. Would look elsewhere for one that works the first time since installation is tedious.

Works great. Had to follow directions from the internet. Installed it in the phone and it is still working to this day.

Put my phone in a boot loop but if I disconnect the part my phone boots up no problem. Maybe I just got a bad one but they are sending a new one so I will update my review if the next one works

Lightning port doesn't work. Microphone doesn't work. Does not transmit to loudspeaker.
