I bought this to prevent the curious fellow travelers from looking at my screen during my travels. Unfortunately you can see the screen from every angle. Little bit darker bit still clear enough to see what’s going on on the screen. Even darkening screen did not resulted in any privacy. It’s is a great concept put poor execution. After installing the privacy screen and placing labels as required my MacBook have about 0.25 inch gap between bottom and the screen. It’s slightly annoying when you putting your laptop and getting it out of the bag often. I like a camera cover but it’s not worth 50 something dollars.Going back to Amazon.

This product is pretty amazing. I love the perfect and snug fit for both the keyboard protector and the privacy shield. The screen shield is magnetic for a perfect alignment - secure the screen on the bottom w the 2 sided the tape. There’s even a privacy “secret” door that closes the webcam which you can open and close with a flip. Only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 was that with high brightness, you can still see the screen at pretty moderate angles. I would have preferred more privacy at those same tolerance angles, but it’s fine enough. Someone would have to absolutely stare and study your screen at those angles to really read your material. At that point just give the WTF look at the privacy intruder.

This is not a good product. It offers no privacy. When viewed from the side, the contents of the screen are still fully visible. Additionally, any time the protector lifts slightly from the screen (when viewing the screen at a downward-tilting angle, for instance) the screen contents become blurred.The product description is dishonest. The seller includes TAPE to affix the bottom of the screen protector to the computer, whereas the product description leads one to believe that the attachment is solely magnetic. Indeed, tape is nowhere in the product description or images. This (a) doesn't work very well and (b) makes the product less plug-and-play. Any time I want to remove it and then reinstall it later, I have to get new tape, since it loses its adhesion over time.

The reason I got this was for the great keyboard cover to protect my butterfly keys. For that its a three thumbs up. At one point I thought I had lost it, but it was right there on the keyboard.The privacy screen is great as well. It helps keep me from blasting my seat mates in the eyes with my screen when working on a plane and protects my screen from prying eyes there and at the coffee shop. I am not sure why "camera quality" and "comfort" are features to be rated so I didn't. There are trade offs when getting privacy, so be aware you will lose brightness and will need to stay square on with the screen.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this privacy shield to feel a little less self-conscious of using Chegg when doing homework. I feel much more at ease. No one can see but me! I love that it’s magnetic so it can be removed easily. It even comes with a plastic storage case. Of course, with all privacy shields, you do lose some brightness, but this is expected. Because the privacy shield is easy to remove it doesn’t bother me at all!

I've tried other privacy screen protectors for my macbook. I've gotta say, this is superior to the others. The bundle included a keyboard cover too. The screen is completely dark when seeing from the side. And it’s an exact fit with the macbook screen so it looks seamless on the laptop that I can’t tell it’s on! Also, there’s a built in camera slide so I don’t have to purchase one separately. Highly recommended!

This magnetic privacy screen was easy to use. It attaches to the top of your macbook screen magnetically so you could get it on and off whenever you need to do so. The privacy factor is good as the screen can’t be seen clearly from the side. Overall, the screen feels very solid and durable and does what its advertised. I highly recommend this if you need a privacy screen.

For $50 its pretty expensive. magnets doesnt really stick. bottom part will have a gap. tape provided doesnt stick at all. “maybe i got the bad apple” but is 50$ and i have no time to return it plus i have to pay for return shipping.i have gap in the screen( middle and right corner)i need to tape the bottom so it wont swing.
