Lots of fun and and very cute, just remember to use regular white bread because it's the best fit.
The kit comes with three plastic parts. You place the bread upon the black square, you press down with the white square, and you make a face outline with the black panda shape. You just have to wash the plastic parts in lots of hot, soapy water first, because they have a very strong smell of polyethylene (strong smell of rubber / plastic). The basic instructions are as follows (use regular-size white bread) -1) place the black square down (with the panda indention facing upwards, just like it shows in the photo)2) gently lay a slice of bread on the black square3) use the white square to press down lightly on the bread, then set the white square aside and remove the bread4) use the little black panda face to press down on the bread (press hard, but not hard enough to go through the bread)6) set this bread aside7) lay a DIFFERENT slice of white bread on the black square8) repeat step 39) on this second slice of bread, fill with jelly or something, up to the outline of the face (not too close to the outline or the jelly will squeeze out)10) place the panda-face bread on top of this, then carefully lay the whole ensemble upon the black square11) place the white square over it all and press down HARD (the idea is to crimp the edges closed)This is actually like driving a car or riding a bicycle---you learn it by doing it a few times, not by reading about how to do it.Anyway, once it's done, enjoy you're cute panda sandwich!!

Love Love Love!
I had no problem using this sandwich maker and the pandas were a big hit as my 6 year old's birthday treat for school. Since there were a few kids who didn't care for peanut butter, we colored those panda's features red so the jam-only sandwiches could be easily identified. Yes, it wastes a ton of bread. But for special occasions it's worth it and we use the left-over bread to feed the ducks. This was our process: 1) stamp a piece of very soft bread with the patterned face stamp; 2) add peanut butter and then a clump of jelly to the stamped piece; 3) cover with second piece of bread and place face-side-up into the black base; 4) fit the white top onto the black bottom, ensuring that the face is centered like you desire; 5) press down firmly, pick up the whole contraption (holding it with two hands like a sandwich) and sort of twist it back and forth, like you're signing "washing machine"; 6) remove lid and sandwich; 7) tear off extra bread - I was not particular on this step, leaving as much of the extra that wanted to stay with the sandwich. We then used Wilton Edible Markers to color in the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Adorable!

bread cutter
So cute but I had trouble using it at first I had to play around with it. Good for small size bread and you want to be extra with making your kids sandwiches.

Everything tastes better with a panda face on it.
My kids love this sandwich maker. Taught my 11 year old and 5 year old and they're excited to eat pandwiches of all kinds. My daughter takes them to school and is feeding all her friends pandwiches.

It's very kawaiiiii and easy!
I love this thing! It's a fun way to make sandwiches for your kids.I like to use thick white bread and this cuts perfectly for that! At first, I wasn't sure how to use it, but after doing it 3 more times, I figured it out. Later, I found out the instructions were in the seller's product pictures lol.Maybe the seller should place a copy of those instructions with the product since some of the reviewers may not have been sure of how to use it.

Cute but small and inconsistent use
This product was really cute and I knew it would be small when I bought it, but it really is for kids who have smaller stomachs! I wouldn't go through all this trouble for a small sandwich. On top of that, depending on the bread you use, the face stamp doesn't work as well and I ended up cutting my sandwiches to fit the shape better. If the aesthetic really matters to you, this is perfect. If not, the trouble isn't worth it.

Great way to split a sandwich with fussy eaters
This is a fun way to make a sandwich, but You do end up wasting a lot of bread in the process. This is why it's a 4-star instead of 5.This is also great for cookies, dumplings, mini pies, and other types of dough that you want to add a filling to or cut.It locks into place amazingly, and can help create an even consistent seal without having to press it yourself. It is dishwasher safe, but most of the time it's just faster to clean it up on the spot.Everything locks together for easy storage.
