Belts are measured from where the belt leather folds at the buckle end to the middle hole at the tip end. For most belts you would want to choose your belt apx. 2" larger than your waist measurement, of course we would suggest to measure your waist at the level where you would wear your belt. The best General rule of thumb is that you should buy your belt 2" larger than your waist - pants size, but you should never hesitate to ask questions when in doubt.

my son love this belt
my son love this belt. the leather quality is great. I only ordered it too big for him. he is 13 years old and slim built but I did not at the time understood the size but now that I have it in my position I understand. so next time I know better. I would order small

Great fit. Was a bit scared because I bought this belt and it was displayed as the same size as another belt I ordered. The other belt I ordered came in first and the fit was way too small, but this one fit perfectly, and I am a size 40 waist. Good quality material, and looks great.

Nice belt
Looks good! Not leather. But looks and feels like leather. It is an adjustable buckle. You will need to cut the belt to match your waist size. There is a couple of weird black small marks. I will need to exchange it and hopefully get one without blemishes.

Belt was better than expected
Belt was better than expected. Not pictured is the Ferragamo brand name written on the belt buckle, but it was no big deal. Belt was for our 13 year old who was attending 8th grade dance. The belt is adjustable and can be cut down to size easily. Fit belt loops on slim style dress pants just fine. The only thing is that it had a strong chemical smell when we took it out of the packaging, but it has since gone away.
