Nice and flat red vinyl with the hole well centered, that's always the first hurdle. Now days that seems like a big accomplishment, oh well. The cover is a gatefold and pretty well done with the lyrics and other info printed inside. Not sure I like those slimy inner opaque sleeves that they used, or if they are even safe for storage or not. I pitched mine just to be safe, and replaced it with a Mobile Fidelity inner sleeve. Lets face it, Friday Music will never be Analogue Productions, however with this release they are getting closer. The fidelity is good played on my Clearaudio turntable with a Nagaoka cartridge (both highly recommended), and of course the music itself is spectacular, hey it's Kansas kids! I would rate this safe to buy. That's right I said it, most records are fairly poor in quality. You will be 100% happy with this one as long as you're a Kansas fan, as anyone with good musical taste is.

“Perfect Lover” has been restored! Yay!
I bought this red vinyl version of “The Best of Kansas” blindly - not knowing whether the original track listing would be used. Kansas fans will remember a song called “Perfect Lover” by John Elefante that was only available on this compilation. For some reason, it was dropped when the CD was remastered and re-released. I’m happy to say that “Perfect Lover” is back where it belongs. Bravo Friday Music! A quality pressing and a must for all Kansas fans!

The sound was great!
This album was a gift for my 14 year old granddaughter and she loved it. She loved the album since she’s never played them before. Great sound also.

Perfect Sound Quality and a Nice Cover
I am new to vinyl and got this record because of the "dust in the wind" song, but I ended up with an album full of amazing tracks. This 180gr vinyl has incredible sound quality even with my average setup: Pro-Ject Carbon RPM 1 with Sumiko Pearl, Cambridge Phono 551P, Marantz Receiver, and Paradigm Signature S1s with Beryllium dome. If you like Kansas, this is a nice record to have.

Zu den Tracks und der Band sage ich nichts. Die ist super!Den Meisten gehts hier sowieso (denke ich) um Info zur Vinylqualität.Diese ist ausgezeichnet. Saubere Verarbeitung. Keine Nebengeräusche o.ä.Hier kann man beruhigt zugreifen.

Tolle Zusammenstellung. Obwohl die Titel alle schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen sind, immer noch klasse Rockmusik. Die Vinyl ist vom Klang richtig gut. Zwar vom Preis her nicht gerade billig, aber sie ist ihr Geld wert.
