Love These Bowls!
I love that these bowls are lead and cadmium free, locally made in Ohio, and have the same beautiful look as the vintage mixing bowls. They are heavy, sturdy, and excellent quality. These are mixing bowls that will last for years and can be passed down through the family. I’ve purchased 3 sizes and find each useful for different things. I much prefer these to the plastic ones in many stores and I think they’re well worth the price. If you’re considering purchasing, I would highly recommend them.

Made in the USA?! Yes please!
These bowls are absolutely fantastic. They are unique and very solid. I had to buy more after seeing the quality. Highly recommend. They don’t have a lot of options to purchase them here on Amazon but Lehmans has a ton of different bowl options from the same maker. Amazon did a shoddy job packaging these but thankfully the bowl made it to me. The other place doesn’t mess around when they package the bowls. Regardless of who is packaging them, the family who makes them know what they are doing. I have five of their bowls and plan to get more.

I've wanted a bowl like this for years -- beautiful as well as practical...
Very happy with my new bowl! Years ago, I had a pretty nice collection of stoneware crocks, churns and mixing bowls and I was heartbroken when I had to leave the largest behind in a cross-country move (and for the most part, the smaller ones didn't survive the trip, only one is left -- I guess it would be considered vintage now.I didn't think I would ever get a chance to replace them, but when I ran across a fermentation crock here on Amazon and investigated other products made by Ohio Stoneware and here in the USA, I just had to order this bowl! Yes, the bowl is a bit on the expensive side, but so worth it as it is hand-thrown and destined to be passed down to my children/grand-children some day. No reason why it shouldn't last for generations with proper care. I think it is gorgeous -- very sturdy and obviously well made. It is much larger, but just as thick and heavy as the 40 year old bowl I already have. The stated volume on the tag is 6.69 quarts, so this easily handles a lot of bread or cookie dough and is great for popcorn night. It is definitely heavy enough to stay in place when hand-mixing (I do not intend to use this with my mixer). This bowl looks great on my counter, and I think it will hold up to everyday use very well. I look forward to having it for many years!

I just love this bowl. It is quite large which works well for big batches, it’s such a nice quality and shape.

Completely smashed
I ordered one bowl, received two, both were completely smashed in pieces. It looked as if they were wrapped up and packaged already broken.

Need a bigger bowl?
Finally got to use this bowl not long ago to make homemade ice cream with. The size is perfect for a 4 qt batch and I'm sure it wold work fine to for 6 qt because its technically rated around 6.6 qt total capacity. Anyways, made a batch of ice cream with it and questioned if the powered beaters I used to mix ingredients with would chip up the bowl bad. I was careful and tried not to hit the bottom or sidewalls much and once I was done I couldn't notice any chips or bad scratches after I cleaned it so it is fairly sturdy and weighs alot too. So to me, this is a standard quality bowl worth buying. Thank you!

Perfect Bowl!
I bought this bowl thinking it would be great for making sourdough bread. I needed a bowl that would give me more than enough room for mixing and proofing bread dough. It is perfect. More than big enough. I love it and hoping it will last many years.

Perfect for making large batches of bread or anything.
In my opinion, you can't go wrong purchasing any Ohio Stoneware bowls. They are nicely made, heavy with unglazed bottoms. I've made lots of ceramics and find these to be some of the best out there. Highly functional and exactly what you need when you are cooking from scratch. The bowl is heavy and with the bottom unglazed it will stay in place while mixing heavy batches of bread or batter. I LOVE that they are still made in U.S. with lead-free glaze. I highly recommend. Thank you Ohio Stoneware!

Wonderful
Love this bowl. Been searching for a mason cash and when I could not get the size I wanted I found this bowl. Best purchase ever. Wish it came in a bigger size as well

Hermoso!
Hermoso! Lo único malo es que no venia bien protegido, solo venia dentro de una bolsa de burbujas dentro de una caja. Se pudo romper! Pero el bowl divino

Worth Every Penny
It arrived in perfect condition. I am blessed with several Mason Cash bowls, but this surpasses those. Well worth the hefty price tag. This bowl will be the workhorse of my kitchen.
