This is a sheet of acrylic eith a design etched, so the light shines up and highlights the design. It's really neat. I love how it can be controlled using the remote, but it also has a touch activation. Great selection of colors, and its quite bright (but can be dimmed).Besides trying to get the stuff off the back, it was super easy to set up. I love it!

Awesome Lighthouse
The lighthouse was an awesome gift. I bought it for my father. He loves sailboats and used to own one. He really enjoyed this gift. He was surprised because it was very unique and changed colors.

Looks really nice in a dark room
My wife loves lighthouses and she really likes this night light. It's very unique. One odd thing, not really a negative, just interesting - my tv remote turns the light on when I turn on the tv. LOL makes us laugh every time.

if i could give zero star I would
Got this for my mother for Christmas it lasted one week started going hay wire flashing and flickering. changed all batteries. remote does not work any more it would never work from the beginning to turn it off.What a piece of krap
