Good performance at a reasonable price.
The battery has given a new lease of life to my seven year old Dyson stick vacuum at less than half the cost of the branded replacement. Only just started using it so can’t comment on longevity. I thought it wasn’t going to be any good as it appeared to overheat with the first use, but it has been fine ever since, having cooled down and recharged. Have used it several times now with no recurrence of the problem. Good value.

Exact replacement. Clear instructions for depletion and first charge of battery. Very good price that saved throwing a vacuum that cost hundreds of pounds in the bin.Screwdriver required to dismantle handle and install replacement battery. Very minor skill set required. Simples!

Easy fit
The battery is easy to install as it's only two cross head screws holding the old one in place. Unfortunately the new battery doesn't provide any installation instructions so you've got to know where the screws are. Also the new battery doesn't come with any new screws so don't lose or discard the original ones.The casing isn't any larger than the original so I have to take it on face value that the battery capacity is larger than the original 2100mA.The price of these replacement batteries seems to be rising so I hope the battery life is better than the original Dyson one.Update. The battery failed after 5 months. The seller was very quick to send a replacement which came next day. Totally recommend this seller to anyone

Great product useful extra battery life

It didn't last more than a month
It was easy to install however, it broke down within 20 days. Just before it broke, battery cut it off constantly and it dead completely. I contacted to Amazon Customer Service and they were very good to give me full refund but I would not recommend to buy this product.

Good alternative to Dyson original battery
Required a look on the internet to check fitting instructions as the battery is secured in place by a couple of small screws. However it is well made and a good fit for the Dyson V6. It works as good as or better than the Dyson battery it replaced when that was new.

New lease of life for Dyson V6
I had noticed that my Dyson V6 was not performing at its best for a while. It then starting losing its charge about halfway through the house. Dyson's own batteries are very expensive so we thought we would try this, hoping that it was indeed the battery that was the problem. It arrived promptly, was easy to install and the V6 is like a new machine. Not only is there still charge in the battery when I am finished, but the performance is much better. Would highly recommend.
