The Devil's Secret (Yaoi) Paperback – June 10, 2008

As with other works by Hinako Takanago, `The Devil's Secret' contains well plotted stories which roll easily from page to page, and again, as usual with her work, is positively brimming with endearing characters.The primary story between a considerate priest and a boy who has mysteriously grown horns and a tail is fun and sweet. It focuses on the sexual kink of being loved by (what could be) a demon and their blossoming romance.The next two stories are firmly in the modern day. One involves a serious (socially maladjusted) college student who takes a small stint in teaching at a local high school. He is then pursued (quite energetically and openly and during class no less) by a high school student, and though the characters are a bit exaggerated, it's a blast to read. The other story involves two college students and long distance and longing, and was an enjoyable read with a satisfying conclusion (if easily put out of mind by the other stories).Our last stop is back in the land of demons, and it focuses on some of the most stunning (if unique - what with tails and wings) men Takanago has ever drawn. It's not a straight course in love for out poor...er demon..., but (if you are like me) you'll enjoy the smut and root for both the seme and the uke while laughing at the situation (that, of course, they brought upon themselves).

Oh man!! I love this author and this story!! I was reading this manga online one day and when I finished it I decided to buy the book but this book is like 5 years old so my first thought was "Nooo!! I'll never find this book brand new anywhere!" So, I was worried but decided to check on Amazon first before going to other websites and low and behold Amazon had it! And it was brand new too and really cheap! I ordered it right away and when it came it was in the usual protective plastic and it was mint condition new! No damage at all! I'm so happy with this book/purchase!The free shipping made it even better! If your a fellow "Fujoshi" and Hinako Takanaga fan like me than you should definitely consider buying this book. It's worth the money.=3

This is a must have for any Yaoi lover. It's made of 5 stories. Though only three of them have any kind of yaoi scenes in them they are all adorable. The first two stories deal with a young boy and a priest, as does the last one, in a sense. The third and fourth story are about different people. The third being about a student teacher and the fourth being about a boy who is coming to terms with a friends affections. All five stories have a sweet back story. And the manga is drawn wonderfully. Anyone who loves yaoi will definitely love this story.

This yaoi has lots of hilarious instances and has a light heart behind it. There are two short stories in the middle that are mostly just fluffy love stories with not much 'action'. I'm more of a fan for 'hard yaoi' so this one isn't my favorite story because I like my yaoi much more graphic, those this does have a few hot scenes. It is however a very warm stoyline that will have you laughing and moaning at the same time. I recommend it for those who are looking for somehting to make them smile.

I have read a lot of yaoi over the years, but this one still stands solidly as my all-time favorite. It took me way too long to get this manga in my hands, but I am so happy I have it now!The Devil's Secret is a refreshing twist on your typical yaoi manga. It has true caring and romance. It even comes with a great supernatural plot! The art and story are just amazing. I can't wait to read this one 100 times over.

I am Hinako Takanaga fan, and therefore own this product. It has cute short stories about a little "devil" who falls for a priest and a side story about the devil's older brother and his own lover. Really funny and sweet, if you have enjoyed any other of the mangaka's work, then this is a must have.
