Big pain to use
I was trying to use this to put around a hollow core interior door frame, actually on the door trim or stop, to let less sound into my bedroom room.Initially, when you pull the tape off the foam (and I don't mean the white backing covering the adhesive, but rather the clear tape that keeps the whole 50 feet of tape wound in a circle) it's very hard to reattach it; it's lost its stickiness; scotch tape won't adhere to the white backing; in fact, I tried 4 different types of tape and nothing, they won't adhere to the backing. I'm using strapping tape now. I hope it'll hold. If not, all 50 feet of tape becomes a big loose mess; it's okay if you're going to use all 50' in one go for your project, but if not, you'll want to reattach the end of the tape to the loop so that you don't end up with a rat's nest or a just a ball of tape.Secondly, when I put this tape on the door stop (or trim), I noticed that I still saw daylight around the edges of the door, WITH THE DOOR CLOSED! so, no good. I thought; I should pull this off and figure out another way. But when I tried to do that, it was extremely hard to pull off this very recently applied foam weatherstripping from the trim. Some came off (taking the paint with it), but some won't and the whole thing looks just horrible.

No more noisy lids
I have a couple of metal toolboxes installed in the back of my Jeep Wrangler. Jeep Wranglers are not known to ride like Cadillacs so the lids to the toolboxes rattle at every bump on the road. I installed this between under the lids and now everything is perfectly quiet. The adhesive seems to be of good quality and the foam provides a great seal.

Great stuff
Used this to reinstall a roof rack on my Jeep and it was PERFECT. I didn’t use as much as I thought I would, but while I was putting this stuff on I was thinking about all kinds of different uses for the leftover on the roll that’s left. The adhesive on the backside of the material was just right, not too sticky and not too thin at the same time.

Surprised at many good uses for foam tape
Purchased this to use on a metal take with a glass top that wobbled a bit because the shelf that the glass sat in was slightly (almost imperceptibly) bent. Fixed that problem. Then I noticed that a door had a slight gap and let in cold air. Used this to stuff inside the rubber gasket and fixed that! I found this product by accident and very satisfied with the results.

Definitely worth it
Comes in 2 big rolls. I used to seal my HF dust collector to 55 gallon drum and sticks to wood, metal and plastic very cell. Also used to wrap around blast gates to for an air tight seal to the 4" pvc sewer drain pipe. I highly recommend!

Came loose the first day
We used this to cover some gaps on our screened balcony between the screen and wall. It was super easy to install, however after a small gust of wind most of it fell down. It didn't really work for us but I think it would be ok for inside use.

Works Great to Fill Gaps Between Auto Body Parts
Needed to replace the hatch handle/cover on my van. I ordered an aftermarket part which did not include the seal between the handle and the actual hatch. This tape worked great to create a water/rain proof seal between these two parts. I foresee many other uses for this foam tape!
