High quality enclosure with lots of features
Purchased this to keep my first colony of beetles. I decided I wanted to have live plants and living soil to support the colony and for a more natural look. I dove into the world of isopods and it has been a blast learning about insect keeping and how to provide for that ecosystem. In order to conveniently accomplish this I needed a water tight base, air flow and an access point. This unit really delivers on that and has a nice aesthetic. This unit is nicer that the competitors at a cheaper price point per my research and use of this unit. I'm glad my research in advance confirmed this is the right one for my purposes and price point.Overall pros / cons:Pros:- water proof base to ensure watered soil, plants, etc stays in. This can help maintain some humidity if you seal up some vents.- Tons of vents for air flow - great if this is what you need for whatever you're housing. (see con below)- Looks great- top feeding ports (I have not utilized these myself but could be really handy if you don't want to open the entire front door)- space saving shape (as opposed to any other slanted walls on a critter box or larger framed units)Con:- Depending on your needs this could provide too much air flow. The entire top is vented with 3/4 metal mesh of high quality and 1/4 plastic venting with feeding ports. I actually wanted to maintain more humidity and my critters do not require much airflow so I covered with plastic wrap. I also needed to seal up the vents to avoid / minimize a fungus knat infestation I was fighting in my houseplants at the time.Other points:The latch is secure to the door. I did see some reviews commenting on the latch but I have not had any issues. It does take a two handed approach which if you're holding food to add to the enclosure it can be challenging but you learn to use it as is and becomes a natural action after a while.

Fantastic, just watch out for the gaps in the top
The unit is sturdy and very well made, and it arrived in excellent condition. It was well packaged and padded correctly.I recommend blocking the little gaps with bits of foam to prevent escape, if you have something that could possibly squeeze through (like a jumping spider). The door is nice and snug, but the latch is rather difficult to operate. As others have said, it requires both hands to open it. I do appreciate the holes in the latch for a twist tie, zip tie, or small padlock- that’s a nice touch, and I like the added security.I recommend getting a small sheet of glass or acrylic to lay across the top (leave a gap for airflow) to help keep the humidity consistent. Otherwise, it tends to dry out pretty quickly.I’m very happy with my purchase. I bought this to make a mini terrarium, and also house a pet jumping spider. It’s perfect for my needs.

Tank So Nice I Bought It Twice
Came packed in a sturdy box with plenty of protective foam. Fully assembled and ready to go. I was impressed with the quality of construction. Solid. The latch is secure, though a little awkward to open. Maybe I'm just using the wrong technique. Stranger things have happened. The access panels in the lid are handydandy, but I much prefer the greater access of the door panel. The base being watertight seems like it'd be really useful for critters needing that sort of environment.I have 2 jumping spiders. They get substrate and plants and interesting things to climb on and explore. Pretzel & Bucket have had a great time investigating their new set-ups, and I got to scratch an itch and be a little creative in designing their new homes. Not too big, not too small. The 8³ box is just perfect for my spoodz.

Quality product
Its a decent enough terrarium. It's latch is designed dumb. The latch works well, it's just annoyingly hard to open.(only reason for 4 stars)Other than that I have no complaints. I will probably get another one or 2 because I really like the size and the latch issue isn't enough of an issue for me to not get it..Also if you're interested in dart frogs these are cool cause they stack and help keep the humidity up. Happy nerding y'all 🤙

Awesome terrarium
Fantastic for jumping spiders, plenty of room to roam and since they make their hammocks up top the front opening door is wonderful for getting them out to handle or for cleaning the terrarium. If you have a smaller one you might want to hot glue some screen door mesh to the vents up top like in my pictures, larger ones won’t be able to get out but smaller or thinner cryptus jumpers will squeeze their way out from experience. Luckily came back and was easy to get back in.Either way probably the best enclosure for these guys if that’s what you are looking for. They are extremely active and roam/hop around constantly so having this kind of room in a front opening enclosure is great!Little vents on top that open up are great for dropping food in as well, we mostly only feed them caught flies which we catch with a cup and paper against windows and let them fly in by placing the cup on the top hole. The glass I’m enclosure allows a ton of viewing room to watch the spider stalk and chase the fly around which is fun.All and all zero complaints 10/10.

Yes
I have two scorpions and have been thru a ton of cages.. not finding one I liked or that didn’t come with some type of issues.. one of their cages were too short, cheeseburger got stuck upside down.. 🙃 was terrible trying to get him down.. another cage only opened on top which made guaranteed feeds extremely difficult.. this one however is the winner! If you have a scorpion or a tarantula. I highly recommend this cage..

Adorable
So stinking cute! It's tiny, but perfect for what I need it for. Going to use it as a grow out tank for dart frogs.
