Replacement Leather Band for Lg G Watch R (black)

Pretty good deal for the price especially when they throw in the tools, although the band came apart after a few months.

The band says Genuine leather on the back side. It does not feel like leather at the touch. This could be because it waterproofed maybe? It feels like covered in some plastic layer or something. This is just my impression. Overall I wish the band was more comfortable. It fits the LG watch G.Not impressed.UPDATEthe coating of this band started peeling off. The band was never in contact with water or any other liquid and was used daily under a shirt, nothing else.The quality of this band is terrible

This band is exactly what you think. It's a cheap quality, poorly made band that is dirt cheap. After a few months of constant heavy use, mine is almost at the end of it's life. It is a thick band that looks quite nice when you first get it. All in all, this won't last you forever, but if you need a quick replacement, this is great.

I was hesitant to get this watch strap due to the reviews but this strap does look pretty nice with my G Watch although I don't think it would look as nice with my Moto 360.

Okay, let me set some ground rules:1. I bought this to hold me over until I bought a new one more expensive one.2. It's $10. Don't be too hard on it.3. The band I review didn't look anything like this one so you might end up with a completely different strap than what I ordered! Who knows, it could be like playing the lottery!First off, it's cheap. And by that I mean really cheap. It doesn't look like the picture at all. It's not even the same color (I've attached some pictures of my own). The little notch you see at the ends of the band where the pins go in, it's not on the actual band. The square end in the photo? Nope, it's round.I think this may have been leather once upon a time, but because it didn't fit my watch, I has to cut some bits off the sides. There I saw what appeared to be what I can only call, "Ground leather". I'm guessing it's bound together with glue and squirted into a watch band mold. From there it's coated in a plastic/paint that is both stiff and sharp. It makes it pretty uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. The band paint/rubber/plastic started to crack and peel right way and the paint started coming off.The tool they sent was helpful, but it fell apart when trying to use it. I had to fiddle with it a little to get the pins swapped out.So, if you plan on using this as your final replacement band, please pass it by. Your wrist will thank you. But if you want to get a cheap hold over to convince you to cough up the $70 to buy a nice comfortable leather band, then this is the one for you!

A pretty okay band for the price. The band itself is pretty thick even for a leather band. it appears to be doubled up where most similar leather bands I've had are a single layer. I can't be sure but the "leather" that is on the wrist side does not seem genuine despite its stamp, this could be a good thing because most leather bands I've had get body dirt embedded into them pretty easily. The top is the real deal though and it fits my LG G Watch nicely. The tool is a nice bonus but the pins it comes with don't seem like very good quality. Overall for the price I am very pleased.
