Swagman TRAVELER XCS2 Towing Bike Rack

I have been using Traveler XCS2 for the last 4 and half + years, 15000 miles and counting, engineer like no other bike rack. been able to transport bikes in between motor home and tow vehicle a 2014 CRV. The bike rack square tubing sleeve is position on the Road Masters dingy tow arms' draw bar, with clearance between CRV and bike rack. The XCS3 mounting square tube secures to a 2" draw tongue using two 1/2" bolts grade 2.Please note that the bolts are only to keep the sleeve in place, do not over tighten, inspect rack before use and when you take a brake tours your destination, just like any other towing, transport and cargo. this rack is been trouble free all along. Like everything else, mechanical inspection and proper maintenance, keeping it cover while not been used, is important, still looks and works as designed, great purchase and highly recommended.The bottom line is convenient to be able to unhooked the CRV with out having to take the bike rack off, or having to drive around heavier and rear view mirror blocked. Just looking forward for Swagman to engineer a bike rack designed just like the XCX2 for fat tires electric bikes

Mounted this on the back our motorhome. Is out of the way and does not interfere with other towing equipment. Very solidly built and convenient to load. Remember to add some additional security such as cable lock.

I purchased this rack so that I could mount it on the back of our motorhome and still be able to tow our car behind. It works perfectly for this purpose, and it has held our 2 bikes (cruisers) securely and without incident from San Antonio to Dallas and now from Dallas to Tucson. This is a great design as the vertical bar can be pivoted out of the way for purposes of removing the second bike or allowing access to the engine compartment of our diesel pusher MH. I had no issue with mounting it on the rather short section of the hitch that extends form the back of the MH, and the 90 degree bend in the mounting bracket gives it sufficient clearance that the bikes don't rub on the back of our MH. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it for anyone having a similar need.

I bought the Swagman 64664 for my motorhome. The ability to keep the bikes on the back of the MH rather than the towed car is very convenient. The rack keeps the bikes stable a supported on the wheels rather than hanging from the frame.

Very nice bike rack that allows me to carry bikes and tow my boat. Securely holds the bikes in place without extra tie downs. I did drill a hole through the base and the receiver tube to bolt it in place for extra security, also used ratchet straps to tighten it to the truck. Probably overkill but an extra sense of security for me. Overall a very nice well built rack.

Bar on ratcheting hold-down assembly broke (long arm) after 15,000 miles between RV and toad and another 5000 miles between RV and boat trailer. Rear view camera shows excessive bouncing with one very light bike and one medium to heavy bike, particularly with boat. Etrailer has replacement hold-down assembly for reasonable price.

Works great behind my motor home. I ordered the "Hidden Hitch 80232 2" Class III Square Ball Mount" to attach it to. The only problem I encountered after attaching trailers to the extended ball is the trailer lights wiring and safety chains were too short to attach to the coach receiver correctly. I had to extend them. Rack holds both our bikes very well. If you are looking at this item and have a woman's bike frame you may consider a crossbar to securely attach the woman's bike. I use a bar similar to the "Cocoweb BiLinear Alternative Bike Adapter"

Works great. Using this on a RV with a tow bar. Easy set-up, well built.

Holds 2 bikes firmly and securely. When trailer is attached to hitch, you need to remove the bikes and the upper part of the bike rack to be able to lower the trailer tongue support using the crank. (I don't have a motorized crank - I am new to the RV world and may not be using the correct terms!) I chose this hitch-mounted rack rather than a trailer-tongue-mounted rack so that I can still use the bike rack on the TV (towing vehicle) and leave the trailer at the camp-site.

Used this to move 2 road bikes across the country. It's great. Only issue is you may need an extended tow.bar so that this isn't touching your bumper. I had to get a receiver extension to make it work.
