Exactly what I wanted.
I got this wide-ratio freewheel as I want to convert my old MTB with its 21-speeds to a much simpler canal bank and green lanes cruiser. With its range of 14-34, it gives a total gear range of 240% which is plenty for an old man like me. Coupled with my 32-tooth chainwheel, it gives me gears between 24" gear inches and 60". That's fine for an old bloke like me to get out into the country and get a bit of fresh air. The bike is also fine for going along footpaths (Yes. I know it's illegal, but I'm still a bit of a rebel!)

Solidly built
I replaced a no-name freewheel on my Trek FX1 which was clunking, it's been in use regularly for a couple of months without any problems.

Now has play !
After a few months starting to get play ie: you can move the whole cassette a few mm so may not last that long. Has been working great and does change gears just fine but after cleaning today found it does have movement. I am going to remove it soon and if it can go back it will but would like to try another one just incase I have a bad unit, as I do like that 34T over the stock 28T

A truly dreadful piece of kit.
I hardly ever write reviews but had to on this occasion.I've always bought Shimano freewheels and cassettes over the years but having installed a new chain, opted for this freewheel from Sunrace for our vintage 26" wheel MTB because of the wider ratios. As well as a bad wobble when mounted, it sounds truly awful when freewheeling – not the usual freewheel tick but a real grinding noise. It came in a factory sealed bag inside the box so hadn’t been returned by another customer. I’ll never make this mistake again and will stick with Shimano, who have never let me down as far as design and quality are concerned. An absolutely rubbish product.

Smooth Shifting
Direct replacement for my Shimano 14-34 tooth freewheel perfect fit. Easy installation The only thing is the freewheel ticking is a little bit louder on this SunRace MFM300 compared to the Shimano not an issue for me. not noticeable outside riding with the wind and traffic other than that very happy great value recommended.

Easy to change
I bought it for my husband

Not durable
Although the gear ratios are good, the sprockets distort easily causing noise, poor shifting and chain wear. I'm on my third cassette in 18 months, so be gentle changing those gears!

have the right tool to remove the old freewheel
good freewheel, nice even spacing of gear ratios, nice old fashion sound - ticks like the old bikes.
