Forgot to take remote away on holiday with the DVD player! Ordered this for next day collection at delivery point and duly arrived. Looks exactly the same as the Sony remote except the brand name.Worked no problem and without any set up. Note: this does not come supplied with batteries like some others do - you'll need to buy some (it takes 2 x AAA)

This remote works and all the buttons connect but I find that the range is a little poor. I have to aim it directly at the media player for it to work. Fairly cheap though so can’t complain

Bought this to replace the original Sony remote for a BDP-S3700 which had stopped being able to move the cursor left/right/top/bottom. Bit of a problem when trying to select an app. This replacement arrived very quickly, moved the batteries over and now works like a dream. Great! The 'official' Sony website was asking £59 for a replacement when I only paid £60 for the DVD player (+remote) in the first place. For £6.99 this seemed somewhat less of a risk.

This was much cheaper, and as good as the original!

I have a really lovely Sony DVD player that's only 18 months old.I checked the model number of my player and this product seller says my model is compatible.No.Don't buy this !! Buy one from a real after dealer, I put the right batteries etc it does not work.My Sony TV is 2010 model and worked perfectly well with the original Sony DVD remote, so it's not that.Thankfully the original remote for my TV works but all be getting a replacement elsewhere.
