Installed easily and works brilliantly, allowing me to run four displays on an old laptop. I added this to my HP DV7t-7000 laptop purchased in 2012 with 1920x1080 native resolution, running Windows 10. I thought it might be too old to drive a 3840x2160 monitor even this this adapter. I was already running three screens, with the laptop display and two 1920x1080 monitors plugged in the laptop's VGA and HDMI video outputs. I connected this Startech adapter to a new LG 4K 3840x260 monitor and it worked instantly with no setup required. I plugged the HDMI cable of the other monitor into the second slot of the Startech adapter and it too instantly connected with no setup required. I never expected that. So I now have three 1920x1080 HD displays and one 3840x2160 4K display all running simultaneously from my six year old laptop. Also worked great in 4K when plugged into a Samsung 4K TV. Five stars for the engineering and execution on this inexpensive adapter!

To start: this cord is the exact accessory that I have wanted. It is affordable and shipped incredibly quick.I have an iPhone 6s and was looking to connect my phone to an older TV to watch movies and shows. Not only does this cord connect successfully to allow me to watch Netflix, movies, etc. but it shows the entire home screen on the TV, so hypothetically I can use ANY app and connect it to the TV. There is no delay and no lack of resolution. I was also worried that this cord wouldn't work with my older TV but it worked perfectly!

Works perfect for what I need. I have my desktop on the other side of the room from my monitor and this is just what I needed. The only problem you might encounter is that the wire is much thicker than a normal HDMI cable. Makes it a bit harder to tuck under base boards but is definitely very durable and noticed no drop in video quality.

My child likes to watch cartoons on the phone, but the screen of the phone is too small. It will make his eyes uncomfortable if he looks too long. I am worried that this will make his eyes become myopic. I bought this lightning cable, the content in the phone can be transmitted to a large screen, very clear, and the effect of watching is good, I think this can make his eyes comfortable. In fact, not only did he use this lightning cable when watching cartoons, but I also often use it to connect to the screen to watch the video, the transmission effect is very good, this product is too practical.

So far works perfectly! Used it to turn my laptop into hdmi output to my tv monitors. My alienware only had one hdmi port but three usb ports so I bought a usb female hub and two of these guys and have independent computer screens across three different monitors making it four total (including my laptop screen. Returned several hdmi splitter hubs that couldn't split to extended screens. Very satisfied with my purchase and saved me a ton of money.

This is worth it to bought. Very good use of things, the quality is good.These are very convenient to travel with. Love the product.It will be really useful for this projects I have in mind. The item was able to be shipped a few days earlier then I had anticipated. If I have further use, I will definitely look through this shop again. The quality seems comparable to what I have purchased in the past.

To be fair it does not claim to work with either Netflix or Amazon Prime but with several reviews saying it does, I thought I would give it a go. Unfortunately, it just buffers endlessly on both streaming and downloads using an iPhone 8. Works fine with iPlayer and other apps on the phone. There's a lot of misinformation out there that Netflix doesn't allow mirroring but it does if you check the website.Update- doesn't work with the Channel 4 app either so have returned it and removed a star.
