Q: Can this be attached to a piece of plywood and sprayed with a protective coating so that it can be outside?

I think you could coat it with something like clear acrylic and you could absolutely attach it to wood. I am not sure how long it would last outside though.

Q: Can it be used outdoors?

It is printed on cardboard, so moisture will ruin it. That being said, the bear that I bought for my daughters "Brave" party withstood about 20 little girls in princess costumes shooting foam tipped arrows at it for 4 hours, and still stands tall today.

Q: What are dimensions when folded

Hi IreneMy cow came in a very sturdy cardboard box. Approx size was 3 foot x 2 foot. I am sure each display is a little different in size but it fit in the back seat of my pick up. Side note. The display comes folded but in such a way as you hardly see a fold line when it's set up. It's amazing how life like it looks. Hope this helpedScott

Q: How difficult is it to set up? Do you need tools? What are the instructions?

Super simple to set up. It is Just cardboard and there are flaps that act as struts in back. Have set up three times — still in good shape. Instructions on package.
