Even though the picture just says oil, its vegetable oil
I bought this, then saw that the picture said oil not vegetable oil so I tried to cancel. It was "too late to cancel" even though still hadn't shipped. Anyway when it arrived I was happily surprised that it is indeed tuna packed in vegetable oil. Not even sure if they ever even use a different type of oil? Not sure about the people leaving reviews about taste being off. Tastes identical to the cans I buy at the grocery store... maybe a couple dollars more per 10 cans but the delivery is worth it.

Oil is a good thing.
Packing the tuna in oil makes it taste a lot fresher and less fishy. I stopped eating canned tuna when they started selling only packed in water. It was awful! Glad I found this.

Looong time customers.
Bumble Bee tuna’s been staple in our house since I was a little tiny girl... and that is a lotta years. In all that time l cannot recall a bad or off-tasting can, so I really have only good things to say. Parenthetically, the only two types we buy are solid white & chunk light, both in oil.

Excellent brand.
This was a good value but when ready to reorder the price had gone up and was no longer priced under the local market price.

You get what you paid for !
Bland - tasteless - small chunks - scrapes of what might be tuna. Least they could pack it in olive oil.It will be sitting on the shelf a long time unless i get a pet that likes this sort of thing or i face starvation.
