I found myself torn at this installment. First it's not real Yaoi, while that doesn't in the least bit detract from this series being awesome, it hasn't gone in that direction yet. Second this volume had a ton of information being thrown at the readers. We see more about Yuki's past life and what it means to be the Light of God. Luka's shadowy past is only slightly revealed (the Demon Lord) and he remains ever faithful to Yuki. We also get to see more of the supporting characters and what they mean to each other and Yuki. I loved it!So why was I so torn? I really wanted something to happen between Luka and Yuki or something (even a declaration) between the violent Hotsumi and level headed Shuusei. The readers are tempted with tiny hints that something is more between all of the Zweilts... Even the brother and sister, but we are given nothing more than hints. The same is true for Luka and Yuki... Luka and Yuki's previous life were lovers, but Luka is convinced that Yuki wished for the memories to disappear so Luka will not start anything. It's frustrating yet keeps the readers on edge the entire time.Now for the plot, it is a fantastic series and this volume is no exception. We learn more about the Zweilt, people get near killed, there's a maniac doll maker that kidnaps Shuusei, and we see the Zweilt partners in action. These volumes are also huge about 2 ½ times the size of a regular manga volume, and worth the money. The third volume will be out in April of 2012 (boo) and I highly recommend starting this series if you enjoy violence, blood, action, angst, and maybe a hint of romance in the future.

It was a really good story with amazing art that could have gone far. Unfortunately the author had to cut it short due to health reasons. The type of ending in the book is my least favorite so I took away two stars. Otherwise I really liked it and it would be five stars.

I LOVED IT! I WAS REALLY SURPRISED WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT THIS VOLUME ACTUALLY CONTAINS TWO VOLUMES! YES, YOU GET TWO VOLUMES OF THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE VERSION IN ONE BOOK. ALSO THE SIZE IS BIGGER THAN REGULAR MANGA SO YOU CAN ENJOY THE DRAWINGS EVEN MORE.

Love this series

This is a great series and Hotsuma is a great character. He and his partner are the main focus of this book and that makes it much better than the first book. Also the betrayal Yuki endures at the end is really poignant.

It's part of a series I collect. I needed this to complete the series.

This series is wonderful!! I recommend this to anyone who loves to read. The characters are brilliant and the art work is beautiful!

Love the story and it sucks me in immediately!

I seriously love this manga, it is as compulsive to read as it is to watch on Youtube.The plot moves a little further along in this one, with you learning more about the mysterious man, Zess, who saved Yuki, as well as about his older brother when he agrees to accompany him to Tokyo and to the mansion he lives in. This is where Yuki learns more about the Zweilt, who are a band of warriors with special abilities who are able to fight beings called the Duras, who are basically demons. The Zweilt are reincarnated to keep their abilities intact and have been fighting for hundreds of years.Apologies but I can't really tell you much more otherwise I'll be ruining the plot....plus it's so convoluted I'll be sure to miss something. (It may have a lot of plot threads, but that doesn't mean it's complicated, just in case you were worried.)Again, the artwork is fantastic, really encapsulating the beauty of the characters, as well as their individual personalities. I love how the artist has really thought about the moments between the characters, so you can see their relationships blossom with each other, and it becomes pretty clear early on that each Zweilt has a special bond with Yuki.Go buy this manga!! You will not be disappointed.

Again this is another double volume and the size of a small planet ^_^More great artwork and story!Go buy the first one!!! you wont be disapointed ^_^

I am really enjoying this series and I particularly love Luka Zess (a demon on the darkside) who falls in love with the 'Light' Yuki and becomes his protector
