Perfect except for the seam at the knee
I love the feel of these pants and the weight of them is perfect. They are very comfortable as they come up higher on the waist and the length for me as a 5’5 person is perfect. Everything would be great and I would be excited to have them except for one thing. There is a seam that runs above the knees that is very noticeable when you wear them. I have no idea why they can’t figure out a way to eliminate that, but I did read someone else’s review about the same but thought it can’t be that bad. It is. I’m going to have to return them because I cannot imagine hiking for eight hours with it rubbing on my knee. Besides that they would be the perfect pair of pants- super high-quality. I was also debating on what size to get because when I measured my waist it looked like I should get a size 28 (size 8) although I’m really a size 6 which would’ve been 27. But I wanted them to be a little bit baggy for layering so I got 28. I made the right choice. The 6 would’ve fit perfectly but no layering room. I’m 5’5 and weigh 128.UPDATESo I ordered three different brands of these types of pants the same day I ordered this one. The second pair came in today. There is also a seam in that one that is even more annoying. Apparently I’m not familiar with how these pants are supposed to feel. I put on a pair of leggings and try these back on and it is much much better. So I would say it’s still irritating if you’re not gonna wear anything under them. If you’re going to wear a pair of the leggings underneath them they should be fine. I’ll probably end up keeping these and returning all the others. The other brand was Lil Donkey? Something like that. I ordered a medium and they were much more baggy than these if you are trying to decide between the two as they seem very comparable.

Runs really small!
Disappointed that these did not fit! As a plus size person (typically wear a 2XL or 16/18) I am already challenged to find good winter clothing. I ordered the 38 based on reviews and the sizing chart after measuring myself. The pant is more like a size 14 if that. I really liked the fabric since I was looking for something waterproof or water-resistant that didn’t sound like sandpaper.

These pants are great!
I have had these pants for about 3 weeks and they are great.FIT - Probably my only complaint is that they are pretty high waisted which is why I gave it 4 stars. I prefer a midrise. The inner layer is pretty fitted. The outler layer is a little looser, but not too much. I've worn them solely tucked into snow boots.Look-I bought these because I knew I needed to be outside in Iowa in January for work in front of my client. They are a little fitted or they feel a little fitted. But my mom commented that they looked nice and no one these field trips I took said anything about how I looked. So i give it an A on looks. I can get away with wearing them to work on crazy cold days.Durabilty-I have yet to wear them hiking or significant outdoor activity, but I have worn them probably 10 times in 3 weeks including 3 days in a row. They have maintained their outside look and inside feel despite wearing them 3 days in a row without washing.Warmth-They are warm. I have stood outside in them in 20 degree weather for 40 minutes and been fine (and I am typically cold..my feet were cold in my snow boots in the same weather). I walked 2 blocks when the windchill was -50F and that was a little much for the pants. But I could tell they cut the wind and were much better than anything else in my wardrobe, but obviously-50F is a little much to expect out of any clothing. Conclusion, I am very happy with the pants. I hope to go hiking in them soon, but my original reason for purchase was for a couple of work meetings acceded outside in January in Iowa and they were great for that and then have been great throughout the latest record breaking cold. They look nice enough to handle a business casual environment where we are encouraged to not wear jeans and even my mom who is rather formal thinks the pants look good and is planning on ordering herself a pair. (I'm 37 and she is 69, so we are so not cool, but the pants are still great).

Very nice - but trial and error in fit
I was attracted to this particular pair of fleece lined pants because they stated they were Slim.I originally ordered a size per measurements from the chart and it was really, really big. They didn't offer a length short enough for me (the shortest being 30") so I planned that I would have to shorten them, but it was huge all over and the waist size would have never stayed up.I returned and reordered with a waist size that was 4 inches smaller than I originally ordered. That size fit pretty good and had the slimmer look (not tight, just without billowing fabric) that I wanted - something I could wear on cold days to run errands. The material is very nice and looks durable. The zippered pockets are nice (even though the back pockets are hard to get into.)If I planned to wear multiple layers for working outside, I would probably have been o.k. with just a 3 inch reduction in the original waist size.

Size up if you want to layer
FIT;I ordered a 30W 30L. I’m 5’2, curvy, round butt, a size 10 in women’s 11 in juniors, medium in stretch pants (large in some juniors) These fit perfectly if I don’t want to layer them. True to size! I did wear normal leggings underneath to get a feel, although I got the ski pants over them, they were really snug. After doing the famous “pants stretch” they loosened a bit. So I’m going to order the next size up so I can wear fleece leggings underneath comfortably.FEEL;They are soft shell almost like my North Face jacket. So I know from experience these will NOT be water Proof. Just water repellent. Great for snowy days. Just brush off and keep going. The fleece isn’t that thick. I have a WeatherProof fleece jacket that’s way thicker. Reasons why I want to be able to wear thick leggings under.AGAINST THE COLD;I live in Minnesota where the winter cold air are like a sociopath on crack stabbing you. Being on the bus 6 days a week for work I need something to keep me warm on those cold days. In the picture I posted, at that temp I stood on my deck for a bit in my tank top, weather proof jacket and Northface dryvent jacket. My upper half was a tiny bit warmer than my lower half (without leggings underneath)Doesn’t have too much stretch, but enough for full movement. Comfortable, soft. I’ll keep the 30W for days that I’ll be jumping in and out the car and won’t have to remove my pants.I showed my body without the pants for reference.

Great quality!
Purchased these for a NY trip, temps were in the single digits / feels like -.. I’m about 5’5, 160 and purchased a size 30, I wanted room to layer leggings under. Bottoms are loose to put over boots? Repels water and kept my legs warm!

Great stretch and very comfortable.
I was looking for the prefect everyday outdoor winter pant. After reading reviews, I was really excited about these pants. I bought two pairs right away. I wear a 10, and I’m 5’6, 160lbs so I ordered a size 30. They fit like a glove, however they were a bit too snug because there’s not enough room to accommodate my big booty. No problems in the thigh area though. I returned them and purchased one pair in a 32. Fits loose in the waist, plenty of room to wear extra layers, a bit baggy. Overall much better than any other pair of snow pants I’ve ever owned. They have great stretch, I can do squats comfortably all day in these pants, something I definitely can’t do in my several pairs of Burton snow pants. Soft inside and out. My only gripe is the bottoms are a bit tighter around the ankle so they do not overlap my hiking boots, gets a bit drafty around the ankle. Might do an alteration to accommodate that issue. No problems tucking in to tall boots or ski boots. I would love it if they altered the pant to add more fabric to the booty area because I prefer a tighter fit to wear them as everyday pants throughout winter. As is I wear them hiking and skiing and I do love them.

Durable, but why bother
I have owned two pairs of these for a few years and they have not discolored or torn so they're durable. I found them warm living in southern california "winter"...However personally after having better quality fleece lined pants in PNW, I see no reason to ever purchase these again or recommend them. The fleece misses the seams so when it's genuinely cold, below 30 and there's wind, it goes right through these pants and my legs freeze. This does not happen with better quality pants. Again, the color is nice and keeps, the fit is good, the stitching has kept completely intact, the water resistance is ok. But ultimately the point is to keep me warm and they miss the mark when it really matters. My last personal problem with these is that you can actually find for example Eddie Bauer fleece pants, that I love, on sale for the same price. So unless I literally needed them now or wasn't willing to wait for a sale of a better brand, I wouldn't bother with these.
