I believe this leather would be great for upholstery, clothing and other light duty uses. Its chrome tanned leather NOT veg tanned leather and is very thin/lightweight.It does not tool or form at all. You cannot stamp or mold this. It would not make a good holster, belt, or knife sheath, or at least not heavy duty enough for me. I wish I had known this before ordering as I had to get something different for my project. I am going to keep this for other costume making projects though.The mixture of colors is great. I got several pieces of the same colors. The colors I received are red, burgundy, grey, green, and a few shiny silver ones. Maybe a few more I dont remember also. It really is a random mixture.If I ever run out of this I would buy it again.

What an awesome bunch of leather scraps. I received 15 pieces of leather. Ten pieces are 2- 4 square feet. I received one nice sized piece of brown patent leather, one small piece of copper metallic, a large piece of burgundy, a medium sized piece of purple, a tiny strip of orange and one blue pebbled scrap. The rest are shades of brown and gray - no black.One of fifteen pieces - a distressed brown leather - has a hole. All others are in good shape. The cuts aren't square, but as scraps you shouldn't expect them to be. The finishes and thickness vary widely.As one new to the art of leather craft, this is a good range of material to practice on. I am pleased with this purchase.

This mixture of leather is incredible! I make leather jewelry and the variety is HUGE for my business. I feel the need to say this is definitely not tooling leather, so if that’s what you’re looking for this isn’t it but anything else like earrings, wallets, handbags, etc.. this is perfect for it. There are plenty of huge pieces and all of it is in really great shape. The leather is good quality, soft, textured, and there is A LOT of it. Thank you! I’ll definitely be buying more soon.

I got an assortment of upholstery type leather in different colors. This includes four larger pieces, three or so middle, and a couple of small. Each is a different color and texture.They are obviously off-cuts from production and as such, you'll get a pretty random group.This is good for small projects requiring soft, thin leather, and you're not dead set on an exact finish.

So happy with purchase that i ordered another one right after i recieved my order. The hides are just beautiful, and of high quality. All in perfect condition and love the colors.

I wouldn't buy again. If you want to make anything substantial, like wallets, pouches, small bags, etc.. you should look elsewhere. It was about 90% cheap bonded upholstery leather, 5% even worse leather (somehow), and 5% actually nice leather. Proportions were misleading in my opinion, it says 3-4 oz leather and almost none of this is.
