Excellent
I've had a lot of wahs over the years. This might be the best one. It's very balanced with regards to the tonal profile. No ear piercing highs here, and has less emphasis on frequencies that produce noise than other crybabies. An unfortunate side effect of this is that it doesn't spit out pinch harmonics as well, but still does it well enough that the added articulation and definition it gains in exchange are more than a fair trade. This is an absolutely great pedal regardless of whether you're looking for that Hammett wah sound or not.The only downside is that is the priceBut I'm willing to pay it for something this well balanced.PSIf you are running bright pickups like the emg 81, or in my case single coils, you will want this or something similar. If you have traditional passive humbuckers, you can probably get away with a much cheaper wah.

Great Pedal
Got my boyfriend this for his first Wah pedal. He was very impressed with the performance and craftsmanship of the pedal. He says it is super versatile and is excited to continue learning to be able to use the pedal to its fullest.

Adapter????
I love the pedal itself, however, the included adapter didn't work. I tried a different DC adapter and it worked fine. The included adapter is not worth it. Get a different one.

Best Wah I have ever used...
The only pedal I use every time I plug in my guitar, the wah pedal is a HUGE part of my sound. I have owned a standard Cry Baby, a Morley, a Lyons and a Vox and NONE of them -- with the exception of the Lyons -- has ever even come close to having the sound, range and sweep of this pedal! On top of how it sounds, it looks cool as hell! Dirty or clean, this pedal delivers. (You do have to be careful playing it clean and adjust the tone using the controls on your guitar. Otherwise, it bites a little too much when the pedal is wide open.) But it totally delivers that wacca-wacca sound. A little pricey -- no doubt you are paying a little extra for Kirk Hammett's name and the graphics -- but well worth it.

Let's face it, you know what you're getting in to
Sounds just like the master himself. I've noticed this wah doesn't overextended on the highs which allows you to be aggressive, while playing, without having those ear splitting moments. Love this, lots of fun to shred with.

Could come in damaged.
Got this today, one day before the husband's birthday and it came in damaged. Was really upset that I spent that much and it arrived it such rough shape.
