I’ve worn night guards for almost 40 years, have always used manual cleaning methods including brushing with a toothbrush and efferdent-type cleaners. Saw a high-dollar version of this cleaner at the dentist’s office and asked what a normal person would buy. The hygienist recommended a few like this one.Bottom line is I like it, it cleans very well, mostly easy to store (living in an RV right now where space is tight), and, although already mentioned, it cleans very, very well :-)Pros: Easy to use, gets my mouth guard very clean, inexpensive.Cons: Shape makes it a little difficult for me to find a place for it, but it can be stored in a drawer quite easily.

I received the iSonic F3900 Ultrasonic Denture/Aligner/Retainer Cleaner on October 13th (13 days ago). This is my second one. The first one lasted almost 3 years and I was happy with that since I use it every day. I was not expecting this one to stop working in less than two weeks. I would turn it on and a second or two later it shut off. Anyway I contacted them right away and they were wonderful and refunded my money to a gift card and I didn't have to send the defective one back. I will probably buy another one since I think this was probably just a fluke. I am giving it 5 stars for the wonderful service and I loved it before that happened.

I think this ultrasonic cleaner worked well while it lasted, but it stopped working after a little over two years of use.

I've been wearing partial dentures for over 10 years, I've got one on the top and one on the bottom. The issue of keeping them clean has always been a challenge. Between coffee and all the stuff you put your mouth every day, there's really no good way to make them look shiny and bright. I've tried tablets, concoctions and in the end just ended up just putting them in a container with some dish soap every night doing the best I could keep them clean.Long story short they were stained and looking pretty nasty. My dentist always told me to use some Dawn dish soap and scrub them after they soaked all night, but I'll tell you I've got enough challenge trying to remember to brush the teeth in my head , much less the ones that can remove, LOL.Okay so onto the review. I was going to buy the small one of these units that just holds dentures but then I thought hey why not get one that's a little bit bigger and is portable w/ battery? It's made by the same company, they all had good reviews. I wanted a little bit bigger one in case I wanted to put some jewelry or some other items in there to clean. I'd done some research on that and understand there's an option to clean jewelry with one of their chemicals in a solo cup so you don't get any nasty chemicals on your machine that you put your teeth in.In any event, I got this thing delivered, read the instructions. I had ordered some of their liquid as well and it also came with a small packet of cleaner and a couple sample tablets. I went ahead and set it up and put the dentures in there and pushed the button like they said ... three minutes later they looked a heck of a lot better.I press the button again and three minutes later they look incredibly clean, I could hardly believe my eyes – these things look almost like when I originally bought them. Let me tell you they had been pretty stained and dark looking, even the metal parts were originally dark looking.I press the button a third time and three minutes later holy moly! these things look absolutely brand-new I mean you cannot see any stains on them at all, I am very impressed. Once I put them in my mouth they really looked so much different, super clean and brand-new.I would recommend this thing for anybody who's got dentures or any kind of appliances that need to be cleaned up and then remain clean on a continuing basis.Just know that there are some limitations, I think you're not supposed to put in items that have been soldered and stuff like that but read up on that before you buy.

I've been using it for several weeks and have been very happy with the results. It took about two weeks (of daily use) to get rid of the toughest stains that had been there for years, but it did the job, a little each day. Now my mouth guard is kept perfectly clean. I'm glad I went with the more expensive device.

Finding this little machine was a stroke of luck! I wear an upper retainer and lower mouthguard and after a few years they start to look a bit dull and run down, and there was some build up I couldn't seem to completely get rid of. Enter the iSonic!After 3 uses all the build up was gone, and my retainer was so pink and bright that it looked brand new. The machine is so easy to use; fill to the min line, put in the small tray, pop in a polident retainer tablet, put in your hardware and press ON! It goes for 5 minutes and there is a slight buzzing sound. It shuts off automatically. I like to then let everything soak for a little while after it shuts off. They don't recommend that you use it more than twice in a row to prevent over heating of the machine.I deducted one star because I do think that they sent me a used machine; when it arrived the box was open, there were fingerprints on the lid and there was some hard residue in the unit, but I ran the unit several times with nothing in it to dislodge the build-up and it eventually came off. I sanitized everything thoroughly before using it myself. I would also say that the only negative about using the machine is that the Basin isn't detachable, you actually have to dump the physical machine to get the water out which can be awkward.Overall, if you're on the fence, get it! It's apart of my morning routine and I have no regrets.

I've had this almost a year now I'm very happy. Yes, it takes 30 seconds to rinse it out under the tap each night but that's more than offset by the 3-5 minutes saved every morning by not having to scrub and clean my retainers. Rinse them off under the tap, drop them in the machine with a daily cleanser tablet, press the button and walk away...every night, it's like putting in new retainers.
