Easy to use and effective
I was looking for something to replace the cold wax strips I'd been using for facial hair and came across this product. There are more expensive ones with good ratings, but I didn't want to invest too much money just in case. I don't see how a more expensive one would work any better than this one! There is a bit of a learning curve - and I'm still working on it. I have a little trouble rolling, twisting and moving at the same time. But, even the first time using it, it did a better job than the cold wax strips did.I've seen reviews about how painful it is. So, depending on your pain threshold and what you've done in the past for hair removal, I can see how some people could think this was painful. I find it to be sort of "pinchy", but not intolerable, and it didn't leave my skin red or irritated. Again this will probably differ by person. If you're looking for a hair removal solution, I would definitely recommend giving this a try.

WILL NOT BE WITHOUT THIS TOOL!!
This epilator works great for those strange hairs that randomly pop up. It takes a little time to get used to the slight sting but once you’ve used it a few times it’s much better. This is my second one( lost the first one) it finds hairs that you don’t even know are there. After about 3 weeks of using it I found that I didn’t feel even the slightest bit of pain. If you’re in the fence .... try it. You won’t believe all the stray hair it plucks from your face.

works pretty good
Takes a few to get used to using, but once I figured it out, I have become addicted! It will hurt like tweezing, but as suggested it seems to have gotten less aggravating. I will totally keep using this and plan to get a few for my ladies group Christmas "favorite things" party..

Good Tool for Hair Removal
I’m a little embarrassed at how long it took me to figure out how to work this thing, but once I figured it out it’s very effective. I don’t know if there are multiple methods, but I got it to work by pulling the spring to trap the hairs, then rolling the spring against the hair growth. I tried it on some very fine baby hairs and it grabs them easy. I think they should include instructions with the product because I almost returned it thinking it didn’t work, but I still give it a 5 star review because it works so well once you master the technique.

Slow/Painful/Necessary
Yes it hurts- of course it does- it is pulling out your hair. And it does the job slowly. I would only recommend for those with the occasional stray hairs. It only takes a couple hairs out at a time. What I do like about it- I can do it without even looking. Don’t need a mirror for precise plucking.

A little painful, but works good
Painful, but works for the goat hairs on my chin. However sometimes it can be difficult to get a particular hair. I do like this product and use it several times a week on my chin and neck. Hurts too much to use on my upper lip.

painful but does the job
I got this because I was tired of paying to go get my upper lip threaded. It is painful but it works. However, sometimes it doesn't get the tiny hairs so 4 stars.

Very painful
Takes a while to get used to. Very painful for wife to use and she has a high pain tolerance. She has pcos so figured this could help with the daily facial hair however after a couple times using it it's to painful for her to use. She has went back to shaving and waxing. Wouldnt recommended
