I needed a couple of black trays to keep on the bottom shelf of my coffee table to pull out when I don't want to use a tv tray and have friends over. My living rooms is modern with mainly seating, tv, book case but no end tables. I pull out a tray table if I need it for just me but they aren't as nice if company is over. I wanted something nice and low key to put some snacks on or that someone can use if they have a plate and are sitting on the couch. Was pleasantly surprised when these arrived just a day after ordering them. They are gorgeous and not too large for someone to hold individually or to use for snacks that are being shared. They have a slight shine to them and look expensive. The bottom is velvet so it is soft against any surface. Very pleased with this purchase.
