This Night Therapy Sleep Revolution metal bed platform is pretty darn solid.I bought the California King and put a memory foam mattress onto it.Setup was easy (probably took me half an hour and all of a beer), the california king comes in two pieces (each looks a bit like an oversized twin) that are held together with wing nuts.I had no problems using this except for one which I expected based upon the other comments. The one problem? The feet squeak (really, it's more of a stutter) on my hardwood floor. So far this does not sound like the high-pitched metal-frame scraping of cheap beds but, instead, the rubber feet stuttering across the bare hardwood floor. I have bought some stick-on felt pads and I think they will cure this (if they don't, I'll come back and update this review downward).Everything else has been just about perfect. My whole family has piled on this thing, and my kids have used it as a trampoline (with only about a foot of memory foam on top of it) and it's stood up like a champ so far.I don't think this frame adds or subtracts any comfort in the sleep, and I haven't really felt any of the bars through the mattress (although the edge-support is slightly better than what I'd expect from my foam mattress); however, the space under the frame is very useful, and the frame itself seems extremely sturdy, especially for something so light.One or two commenters mentioned the toe-breaking middle legs. This is true, the middle legs are flush with the sides of the bed, but are basically invisible while making the bed, so, they are very easy to kick accidentally. Still, it's hard for me to blame the frame for this. It's more of a matter of getting used to where the (necessary) legs are hiding under the mattress.

Bed frame broke exactly 3 days after the return window. In order to return it I need to put it in a box and I can’t find a box big enough to fit it in.

We love this frame. We use it separated. I put it together myself with no help from my husband. Easy to do. I read other reviews and immediately took someone's advice and laid out planks on the bed, then placed mattresses on top. Purchased it Sep. 2015; it is now Jan. 2016, and we have no complaints. We took our permanent King bed and mattresses to our winter home last year. This bed is easy to take down and set up for different apartments we rent in summer (to get away from the heat). During the winter we put furniture in storage and take it out for apartment living in summer. I fully recommend this to anyone interested. Wisconsin

These are very nice platforms for the price. My husband has restless leg so sleeping on one mattress keeps me awake. We bought two futons and put them on top of these platforms. They are great! At first we could feel the bars a little bit but got an egg crate mattress and put it on top of the platforms before putting on the futons. Best sleep either one of us has had in years. They are low - a little over a foot - and just the right height for getting into and out of. Wish we had thought of this years ago.

As advertised

This works great for me. I have a small space and didn't want a bulky boxspring. I have a carpeted floor and have no squeaking, no moving and no sliding. I sleep on it every night with no comfort issues and would definitely recommend this. I have a twin mattress and a memory foam pad on top of it. Storage underneath is nice but there is a center leg to keep in mind.

so. frikkin. easy.I put it together myself and it's the most secure bed frame I've ever had. Every bed frame should be made like this. If you are using this in conjunction with a box spring and mattress, your bed will be hip height. Kinda fun to launch into it every night, though. Pretty sure you can eliminate your box spring with this baby but I have a Sleep Number, so I keep mine on the box it came with.
