GenconAll-In-1 Dog Headcollar & Lead - Left-handed - Red/Black

This is like magic for dog walkers. I just CANNOT BELIEVE the difference it instantly made to how my 11 month old Labrador behaved when attracted to this miraculous lead. We used a slip lead as he was well trained to walk on the left, but pulled very strongly when seeing other dogs or catching an irresistible smell, and our hands would be very red and sore for hours afterwards as we had to wrap the lead around our hand to control him better. We bypassed the Halti head collar in favour of that, as many reviews said it doesn’t even compare, so cannot comment on that, but WOW! Its actually an instant fix, and even though my dog hates it and hides in his bed with his head tucked away, he will get used to it eventually.He could probably get it off, as he tries to do so when walking, but not done s yet. It is very gentle too, so if you want your dog to ‘heel’, we can now say it at a normal level with a very gentle pull and it works! He responds perfectly. You absolutely MUST ensure it is fitted properly though, the instructions are basic but it’s very easy to get wrong. A few videos on YouTube are good to make sure it’s correct.For the price, it’s worth every Penny and more! It looks very basic, so don’t be alarmed when you open it up, but it works and that is all you need. Whole heartedly suggest you purchase this, it’s made our lives much better as we were wondering whether to persevere with our unruly Lab or invest in training which we couldn’t afford, so it’s been an answer to our prayers!

Does the job great

Having tried various products in an attempt to calm our five month old Labrador puppy when on the lead, I was pretty sceptical as to whether this would work or not. I have to admit I am now a total convert. This simple lead is so very effective and we now have a beautifully controlled, happy puppy when on the lead. She no longer pulls or jumps, she is a pleasure to take for a walk. For the first few hours she attempted to scratch it off her nose but now wears is it happily as she knows it means she’s going for a nice walk.

I was recommended this by someone in a pet shop. I was going to buy a harness but this was suggested and it’s been a game changer. Our dog leaned into a harness and pulled but with this he trots along beside at heel and is now a pleasure to take out. It’s worth persevering and use lots of treats in the first few tries with it. We used it in the garden to get him used to it and it look 2 or 3 goes and he doesn’t try and rub it off at all now. It’s a great.

Having already been an all in one gen collar user, I was excited to get our replacement for our new dog. However, what I didn't realise is this one, unlike the other all in one leads does not have the lead clip at the end. That is a big loss to the lead as is super helpful to clip to harness or collar when on the sniffy part of our walks. That being said it is a good lead overall, wouldn't be without it.

Have tried slip leads and harnesses to try and get our twelve month Springer spaniel to walk to heal all to no avail. This is despite constant encouragement on our half and having taken him to obedience training. The trainers answer was "he is a Springer,they all do it" Whilst it took a little bit of working out how to fit it has made a world of difference. He now walks to heal with no manic pulling of the lead.

Our 10 month Sprocker , loves to pull my arm out my socket when he feels the urge to. We have tried harnesses , bungee leads but he still loves to pull. Additional if he hears a car he spins me around to get away from it. I purchased this item after talking to a lady on a walk in the dales. Day one he did not like it and pulled to try and get away from it. Day 2 he stated to live with it, just tries to get it off his noes with no joy. Day 3 bingo...... Our walks are so enjoyable , he walks like a show dog. Its even calmed him when crossing roads. We should have purchased this item 8 months ago , to make our walks and his enjoyable and less stressful.

Just started training but is the easiest head halter to apply to dogs. Easy on easy off without any resistance. Awesome product.

This product saved a wonderful 70 pound rescue dog who pulled when he saw. Ie another dog, a runner , motor bike, school bus passing etc. from thinking about returning him to the rescue . It is amazingThe fact the it goes behind the ears and over the nose is a huge plus for me.

I really love this leash/collar and it does humanely stop dogs from pulling. The only negative is that the leash becomes very short when using this on a giant breed dog and I have to another leash to make it longer.
