Great product, crummy packaging
We have used these bag before, buying direct form manufacturer. they are awesome and camping, etc and work well. They are not completely sealed and they deinitely are not smell proof, but as long as you have a tight container like a bucket with sealed top, or a better bag to put them in, they work great. My only issue is that they came all just thrown in a big cardboard box. several were unrolled form the shipping and lost their "poop powder" contents... not a huge deal.. they still work fine and we only lost a few, but could have been packaged more carefully is all. Overall a great product though. Highly reccomend if you do boating or camping and need human waste bags for less money than $2/ea.

Great for socially-distanced camping
We used these bags (along with a basic portable toilet, set up in a small adjacent tent) so that we could avoid using communal restrooms when camping in a state park. They worked very well overall and were a good solution. We replaced the bag fairly frequently and used about 8 bags per day for a family of two adults and two teenagers, which we felt was a reasonably economical solution to allow us to camp confidently during a pandemic, especially if bought in bulk. (We probably could have used fewer bags, because we tended to replace the bags after "number two," but that wasn't strictly necessary. We felt confident for about 3 uses for urination-only, but only twice for the larger-volume "first thing in the morning" pees.) Note that the bags work best if you make sure that all of the powder isn't stuck in the corner of the bag when you first put the bag liner into the portable toilet. The bags did not leak during use. When full, we tied them as securely as possible before placing them temporarily into a job bucket lined with a trash bag and covered with a lid. This worked fairly well, but next time I would use another commenter's suggestion of just using a small zip tie, which would probably be easier. For urine, the gelling powder odor control seemed to work fairly well (when we went into the "personal" tent, there was not a noticeable odor even if the bag had been used previously, despite the summer heat). Odors from bowel movements probably would have been more noticeable if left sitting, but we didn't test this out. Keeping the sealed bags in a job bucket with a lid, which we emptied once a day, worked fine to control any odors. Overall, a good product that I would buy and use again.

Excellent commode liner except difficult to seal for disposal
Commode liner is largest size I have found and works well in our commode pail. Current design to seal for disposal (i.e. tying handles) is faulty and bag has leaked. I will be using zip ties going forward to seal the bag for disposal. Vendor should either include step-by-step instructions for sealing bag or include an extra item to seal bag.
