Doesn't last. Difficult to work with. Uneconomical.
I bought 1 jar of this. It lasted about 1 year before it dried up to unusable. I got about 8 applications out of this. SO, at about $1 per traction tire, I got $16 value. The application on O gauge is difficult to get even, which then causes the engine to run very "bumpy".It does not last. It wears out very quickly on an avidly used loco, causing slippage. Removing the remainder in order to refresh the application is very difficult. It is extremely messy to apply.

G-Scale Modeler, and it works Great!
I'm a G-scale modeler that runs trains outdoors. I had an Accucraft 4-4-0 American that would not pull more than two cars. Frustrated that this expensive brass locomotive, just would not run well on my outdoor layout, I thought I would give this a try. I stumbled across this stuff from an HO gauge forum, and could not find anyone using it for large scale trains. I gave it a try and it works! the loco now pulls 6 cars with no problem. It drys clear, so you can't tell its on the four main drive wheels. I'm really glad I stumbled across this product. The vendor needs to start marketing to the G-Scale Market.

There is something wrong with this product
First of all where ever I used this product it did well but ..... It costs about five times more than comparable products you can get at Best Buy/ Home Depot etc. My main complaint however is that after three years the metal lid turned to rust and fell in on the contents, which then solidified. I checked with others and they said the same thing happened to them. At approximately $25 for a tiny bottle that makes it a poor product.

Worked perfectly for traction wheel on my O scale train
There’s not much to say other than it work brilliantly. I was having trouble with the traction wheel on my electric train and this did the job. 100% satisfied

Worth It! But requires pratice.
Great product, giving 4 stars because i felt the instructions were minimal. Installed on a couple athearn blue box GP38-2's so far . Definitely increased pulling power. Before the snot 15-20 cars, after 30-35 installed on two axles. Tip: If the snot is to thick to evenly spread it can be thinned with water. The instructions don't state this. I redid my first locomotive at least 4 times before i was satisfied, take your time and expect it to not be perfect first go round. Removal is easy. As far as durability goes i replace them about every two weeks and i run about 10-13 hours a week.

Bullfrog snot
Well, I am completely amazed with this product. I have been model railroading for 40+ years. I have some very old HO scale locomotives from the 70's that had lost the original traction bands on the pulling wheels (my later model trains don't have these rubber tires). I applied "Bullfrog Snot" solution to the wheels as illustrated and now these old units run like brand new. Smooth running with plenty of pulling power and traction. This is a very inovative product and performs as advertised. A big thanks to the developer of Bullfrog Snot from a very pleased model railroader.
