Enjoying this book. It's inspirational and gets you to stop and take notice of the moment. A greater appreciation of my surroundings and how I interact with things around me.

Brief, thoughtful essays that I found ideal as the subject of relaxed conversations with friends and family. It also made me ponder the many opportunities I have every day to allow small pleasures to bring me joy. Well-written, interesting, and a beautifully bound book.

This is an inspirational book! My son gave it to me for Mother's Day, just before I had knee replacement surgery. It gave me much joy. I gifted it to my sister and best friend.

This book finds a way to speak to me each chapter. A gem.

Short subjects to dip into. Helps you appreciate all the opportunities in our lives for small peasures.

I love the School of Life series, but this one, though thicker, is of lower quality. It's very subjective, really just a series of essays on this the authors happen to like. The chapter on self pity, however, was quite good.

Another wonderful book from The School of Life. Each small pleasure makes me smile and reminds me to calm down and appreciate the best in life. such a good reminder. all their books enhance my life. I really do recommend School of Life books.

It’s cute but maybe a little too long

A gentle reminder of things we probably know, but perhaps have lost the habit of paying attention to. Pleasures don't have to be complex.

Beautifully written book about noticing and appreciating everyday ordinary things as against the rare romantic ones. Reading brings pure joy.

I liked it. So much things that i could not see before reading this book, it's like a lens for a beautiful everyday experience. Each phrase can be put side by side with events fo our own lives to help us see the hidden possibilities of deepeness in our own things. Who liked it? o/
