I wanted a slight sound increase and it made the sound about 20% louder. It has a satisfying bark about 6K - 8K then changes to less satisfying top-end sound. It seemed like the top end had a little more rip, but I didn't do anything to confirm this. It definitely lost low-end torque without the added backpressure of the EXUP valve. A handy dude could fashion it back into the GP-1 if he wanted. It looks menacing and narrows the bike. Doesn't ever heat up and bother my legs. For the price you gotta get it. That bark is awesome. T-tuner midpipe is next.

If you want loud, this is for you. If you want cheap, this is for you. Combine this with headers or a cat-delete, and you will NOT hear yourself think. Attach onto regular cats and it sounds just as good as the multi-hundred dollar fancy ones.
