Bought this for my son and was a bit skeptical about how good it would be. The punching bag appears to be vinyl-covered foam (so not sure how long it will last), but since the kids are small they're probably not likely to crack it easily. The instructions weren't needed (it's not hard to assemble). The most difficult part of the assembly was that we used sand (instead of water) in the base to ensure it is stable. It took a 50-lb bag of playsand, plus about 10 lbs more to fill it. However, once the sand was in, it was sturdy and didn't move when the bag is punched. The metal pole and bottom spring seems sturdy enough and overall very happy with the purchase. It's only been a few weeks but will update if something changes.

This was amongst the few new additions that we purchased to keep our kid and his cousins busy over the winter. They're boys ranging from 4-14 and they all love punching this thing.It's sturdy, you can fill the base with either sand or water, so between that and the width of the base it's not tipping over. It was really easy to assemble, there's not many parts and it was easy enough that I didn't need the directions to put it together. It comes with a couple hex keys and a wrench, you don't need any additional tools. It's adjustable too. I've used it and I'm 5'8", I can't have it fully extended because it's too high for me. I'm guessing someone around 6' would be able to use it comfortably on the highest setting.It'll definitely help keep the kids' energy in check while we're snowed in. Shipping was from the US and it only took 3 or 4 days.

I used to avoid doing any physical activity, but honestly ever since I have gotten this I have been really glad I've picked up working out. My left arm has been a huge focus ever since my surgery and I honestly can say this particular punching bag has been the perfect motivator.It was super easy to put together and adjust, no additional tools needed. I personally think it's possible to just use this without any water or sand in the base but obviously, if you are going to really use it then have a solid base filling otherwise it will just fall over. The height adjustment is easy to work with, the ball texture is firm so after a while using it without a glove will bother you so a glove would be nice to have. The movement is fluid, easy to work with and get good cardio in after 15 mins of nonstop usage. You will need some space, so obviously, for the picture, I placed it near my desk but I usually keep it towards the side so that it can have a full range of motion and not hit anything.

Got this punching bag for indoors because it’s really cold here during winter. This punching bag is pretty sturdy and good value for its price. We were looking for something not too expensive but decent quality. It bounces right back up once you punch it, and good size for indoors. Another good thing about this is it’s adjustable according to your height. Also pretty easy to assemble.

I filled the base with as much water as possible because I knew it would be the only way it would be the most stable. Of course, this is not for adult boxers. It was never intended for this purpose. But what a great workout! one of the best I have tried and I am active. First, it's a natural movement. It engages shoulders, the entire arm, but also the core and legs for stability. Because the 'ball' does move, to avoid it one has to move quickly back and forth. But more importantly, it's so much fun. It doesn't feel like a workout. If you get tense like me, it is a major relaxant and after frustrations of the day, even just 5-10 minutes I feel like I am more relaxed again. If someone annoyed you that day at work, it's way better than building up that stress and keeping it to build up. Well made. Very easy to assemble (I hardly needed the instructions) and I can tell it will last for a while. The bonus is one can come up with other types of movements to use it for maximum muscle use. What an ingenious design. The water is so heavy, it does not move. The height can be adjusted for the best level. It may not work if one is 6'4 or taller but what does. Do buy the gloves, the ball is stiff as it should be, it will hurt bare hands. It takes minimal space and looks attractive for what it is. I don't recommend it for children younger than 8-10 due to the bounce back.
