BRITISH ARMY UNIFORMS IN COLOR - 1909-1919
This book is very well produced on quality paper. The reprodution of the artwork is excellent, with the exception of the Harry Payne section, which has an annoying shine as if the paintings were lit incorrectly when photographed.I was not expecting a diffinatve uniform referance, but practically all the line infantry regiments are shown (only the Welsh Guards are illustrated), some several times. There are a few cavalry regiments and corps units shown as well.It is a great pleasure to see the full dress uniforms of the "ordinary" infantry, which are only ever seen today in regimental bands or corps of drums.

As Described
This book has postcard illustrations from early 20th century British postcards of soldiers from Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales. You might choose another book if you desire the history of the uniforms.

Great visuals
The pictures depicted here are classic British pomp and glory types. These are magnificently drawn. Truly a feast for the eyes.

British Army Uniforms in Color
A GREAT reference book. Wonderfully illustrated. I would purchase any book put out by this company. Wish they would elaborate on additional regiments of the "Empire".
