I love this product, the vanilla bean is not only delicious and easy to use, the taste it incredible. I only order this brand.

My family loves this product. There is a fuller vanilla flavor than using an extract and it's nice to see actual vanilla bean specks. It's easy to pour out and the opening is big enough for a measuring spoon if that's your preference. I found that we ended up using this more quickly than extract only because we added it to things we might not normally such as cake, cookie, or pancake mixes and my husband made more vanilla ice cream because the flavor and smell is so good. This is a bit more expensive than an extract, but worth it if you have the extra to spend.

I'm trying to find some balance for my mothers and grandmothers' recipes they have always use another brand.A few years ago, the company stopped making their Double Batch Vanilla so with the regular batch vanilla and the Vanilla Bean Paste I have gotten my vanilla frosting almost the same as my grandmother's recipe. The color and texture is great after everything is blended. Its great tasting.

Easy to use! Great price! Enhances that vanilla flavor in pastries, pudding, frosting, cakes, ice cream…and my vanilla and toffee biscotti o s always a hit! The flecks of black vanilla bean are plentiful but strangely the product ingredients don’t actually list vanilla beans. The odor of this product is definitely vanilla but has an alcohol type smell that is a bit overpowering for my sniffer. Again; the flavor profile is definitely vanilla bean! Go ahead and try it… i think you’ll like it

The media could not be loaded. When I give a review, I like to give the positive and any negative after I have tried and or used the product multiple times. I actually used this paste in place of my traditional vanilla extract that I was purchasing from Watson's. The size of the bottle was ok considering the the quality of the product. It is about the size of a large bottle of the migraine medication that starts with an "E". :-)Pros: I used this when making a pan of no bake banana pudding. Babyyyyyy, let me tell you it took my banana pudding from a solid 8 to a resounding 10+. One thing that I never liked about traditional extracts is that IMO you can always taste that alcohol base in the back of your palate. I do not taste ANY of this with the vanilla bean paste. In fact the taste sort of reminds me of a vanilla tootsie roll. The paste has a depth of flavor that the extract simply does not possess. I can envision using this moving forward for all of my baking needs. My sweet potato pies came out so good, it would make you want to smack the legendary Ms Patti LaBelle herself chilee. *chefs kiss, they were ahmazing...Cons: There are only a couple of cons. I ordered a couple of items in this particular order and I was shocked that this bottle was not wrapped or packaged in a way to avoid spillage or cracks in the bottle. This was in those bubble wrap envelopes that Amazon uses and IMO this was very poor packaging. With food orders with Amazon you cannot send anything back so the least they could do is wrap this well. Secondly, I have another bottle of vanilla bean paste that I purchased from Home G00ds and it had a thicker consistency that I loved better for non-baked items. I do feel that when you add it to something that you are going to bake that some of the potency of flavor is lost. So this is why I gave it 4 stars. I took off 1/2 a point for poor packaging and 1/2 a point because I wish the consistency was thicker. I will say I would purchase this again for sure. The vanilla has a wonderful flavor and elevates whatever dish you are adding this too.
