Eileen West Women's Sardinia Ballet Gown

Wow, do I ever wish I'd tried this nightgown before I bought flannel nightgowns this winter! My experience with nightgowns is that either the material is too light, too heavy, or too itchy; or then it's that cheap material that pills and feels scratchy. I have some lightweight winter nightgowns that were not warm enough for midwest winters; then bought a couple of flannel gowns on Amazon. Although the flannel can be nice, for me they get too hot in the middle of the night. Plus, they shrink no matter how careful I am, so then they no longer hang to the floor and I get a nice draft up the legs! But I hate wearing anything too binding at night. Okay, so I then bought THIS nightgown based on reviews. The material is soooo soft. It hangs exactly right; not to the floor, but clings just enough to the legs to make it comfortable and warm without being binding. You can move in it! And best thing ever, is that it is warm enough to withstand winter, but it also doesn't overheat you in the middle of the night. I am thinking about buying another. I could wear this all day long and be perfectly comfortable. As for size - I'm 5'5" and 105, and a small fits just right. I think someone slightly bigger or slightly smaller could easily wear the small also. The arms aren't tight.

Softest material only gets better with washing - perfect weight for fall/winter, excellent craftsmanship m highly recommended.

Smallish and I didn't like the feel of the fabric at all. Returned.

Too tight on my arms and chest. I also thought it would be longer because I am only 5'3" but it barely is below the knee. Really not that happy with it.

i ordered a small one and it's already too big for me (i am 1.65m, abt 5f 4"). far too long, too. i am thinking of cutting it shorter myself.

because I am 5 feet tall, i cut about a foot from the bottom and I hemmed it. Now it has become a ballet nightgown FOR ME! But I would not have done it if I hadn't fallen in love with it.. The softest, plushest, most pleasant feeling. Surprisingly enough, even though it's polyester, I don't feel suffocated.. it's pleasant, it's warm and I like it! it's also cute!

I got this for my sister for Christmas and she likes it very well. It is a thicker, fleece-like fabric that I was not expecting from Eileen West, but she finds it warm and comfortable.

The gown fit well and very warm . Great product for the price !
