Awesome product, great value for what you get, step by step instructions, took me about an hour to complete the whole process, perfectly cut keys, perfect replacement! the hardest part was lining the new key cylinder up into the steering column because this replacement cylinder has a C clip on the back that the original did not and I think the key cylinder receiver in the column had to be in the on but not started position for the new cylinder to go in.

This Key works perfect..Just follow the instructions an this will save you some money!It took about 30 minutes to remove the shroud around the steering wheel and replace the cylinder and program the key. Everything you need to do the job is included in the kit..my friend who has been a Ford authorized mechanic for 35 years recommended this.Fyi for my specific application on my truck (2008 ford F150) i had to remove the retaining ring on the back of the cylinder before installing.

Followed steps as written. New keys programmed. Now car won't start with keys at all.

This only took me 20 minutes to do, and 10 minutes of that was the programmer doing it's thing. The instructions were easy to follow and straightforward. I would purchase this again and this was way more affordable than having a locksmith come and do it. The quality of the keys seems good as well.

Ignition lock cylinder went out on 2010 ford f150 lariat supercrew 5.4 and bought this as a replacement, assembly video is missing the part when you need to add power back to the truck after getting the cylinder in and my safety harness isn’t chrome or held on by a screw it was plastic and held on by a squeeze clip. When programming I did go into anti theft twice and just reset everything and retried, the third time the truck started programming the key without going into anti theft. Keys are very bulky but still is a better price than a locksmith & you’d have to install to replace a cylinder still or even to buy a spare key. To get the truck out of anti theft I closed all doors unplugged the obd2 programmer locked and unlocked the truck using the original key at the driver side door then sat in the seat and started the truck once using the original key then resumed trying to program the key with given instructions with the truck turned off

Installed ignition no problem but the lock cylinder was defective called the 800 number talked to tech he determined the lock cylinder was defective gotta send back and get another one that the only vehicle I have Amazon said no refund till they get part in hand that socks when it's your only truck but oriely was around 150. Amazon was 70 big price

A real lifesaver the locksmith wanted $365 to come out and fix the key that I had broke off in the lock. Plus they said it would be extra to program another key.Bought this for $66 and now I have a brand new key lock and two programmed keys.Had to do the programming three times because I didn't get the timing right but as they say a third time is a charm if it doesn't work just go through the cycle again. It all goes very quick except for the 10 minute wait period while it programs each key (10 minutes per key).

Followed instruction. No go.. seen on line put seat belt on still no go.. finally thought ok let's close the hood, put on seat belt. Yeah boom it goes lol. Both keys programed. Both start car. Nice.
